Guest speaker was Juliette Wright, Founder and CEO of GIVIT. She is a truly amazing woman who has achieved so much in 3 years, connecting charities and people in need with members of the community who can help by donating items required.

05.01.2022 To celebrate International Women’s Day 2014, Redcliffe Quota will again be hosting our annual IWD Breakfast, at Bramble Bay Bowls Club, Friday 7th March 2014, 6.45am (for a 7am start). This year our Guest Speaker will be Trish Jenkins, who has a remarkable story to share. Trish was an accomplished business woman and investor who climbed the corporate ladder to success, and built a multi-million dollar portfolio. She was a trusted corporate trainer, award-winning sales execut...ive and a prosperous real estate investor. Her dream life became a nightmare when she made a fatal mistake: unwittingly working with a con-artist. Trish was found in breach of the Corporations Act, lost everything and was sentenced to 8 months in prison. Trish Jenkins’ dramatic story could be anyone’s: your business associate, colleague or best friend. Behind Bars proved to be more educational for Trish than 20 years in business. Trish imparts lessons from her prison experience and recovery, sharing real stories about real people in bizarre circumstances. At the IWD breakfast we will also be launching the annual Redcliffe Quota’s Ambassador of the Year Quest, which is open to all year 11 students, who are passionate about creating positive social change for the disadvantaged in our community, in third world countries and in their own lives. Tickets to this event are $25 for adults, $20 for secondary students, payable prior to the event, bookings essential. RSVP 28th February 2014. For more information please contact Kay Smallhorne on 3283 4772 or Beris Pritchard on 3283 3006.
02.01.2022 Our guest speaker for this year's IWD is Trish Jenkins. A vibrant and confident woman who shares her real life experiences, and speaks of life full of courage, opportunities and second chances.
