It’s really unfortunate that at the last moment Eid salah has been cancelled in many places and several events had to be cancelled due to the current situation of Covid-19. We hope despite all these circumstances we’ll celebrate eid together and will follow the health guidelines from the authority. Stay alert and stay safe. ...Let’s pray together so that we can overcome the situation and get our peaceful world back again soon. Eid Mubarak QUTBA executive committee

02.01.2022 On 24th February 2019, QUTBA celebrated International Mother Language Day in the Amphitheatre of QUT, Kelvin Grove. Starting the event by paying tribute to the language martyrs, it proceeded on to the cultural segment of the evening. There were performers from both QUT and outside of QUT. We tried to ensure to give the 250 people who were QUT students and staffs (Bangladeshi and International) with family and Bangladeshi Community Members a memorable time. QUTBA is gratefu...l to all the little kids who performed on Bengali songs and took us back to the memories of Bangladesh's village; all the couples who gave us a glimpse of Bengali Cinema; to all the models who brought each and every beauty of our country's festivals in the fashion show. We also appreciate the performers from India, Malaysia, and Papua New Guinea. Their presence and their spectacular performances brought diversity to the evening. Last but not the least a huge thanks goes to SANS~NOM : A Bengali Band In Qld for ending the night with their amazing concert. We express our gratitude to our sponsors QUT Students and QUT SCAP for their support to make the night successful. QUTBA appreciates everyone's presence and contribution to make IMLD 2019 a remarkable event of the year. photo credits: Moniruzzaman Khan
