24.01.2022 Congratulations to the 2020 QUT Gibbs Moot Team, Jen Ward and Heath Gabbett, who won the prize for the Best Plaintiff Memoranda and were Quarterfinalists at this year’s Sir Harry Gibbs Constitutional Law Moot Competition. The competition, organised annually by Melbourne Law School, was held online this year. Dr Peta Stephenson coached the team with QUT Law Student Teagan Matthews as the team’s mentor.

07.01.2022 We sat down with the champions of the 2020 MinterEllison Junior Moot, Alexandra Feeney and Isabelle Rubendra, to discuss how they achieved success in mooting and what advice they would give people who are just starting out. The QUTLS Moot Club provides non-competitive mooting experience and programs to promote mooting in the law school.
06.01.2022 Nominations for the 2021 Director of Moot Club and the Moot Club Officer are now open until Sunday 4 October The Moot Club is a great way to meet interesting people, find a community and contribute to the culture of the law school. Getting involved in the Moot Club has been a hugely rewarding experience and we'd recommend it to anyone interested in mooting!
