Recently we got a lot of enquiries asking what services they need in order to have such a transformation. If your base is as dark (black) as in the photo, then you will need to have balayage or full head bleach done first, then 2nd bleach to re-apply to the hair to lift it up further to the shades we are targeting. 09.01.2022 Dark ash/grey balayage done @qvhairmelbourne Ladies and gentlemen, if you have dark hair as your natural hair colour, to get a cool tone, even it's as dark as the photo shown up there, you will still need to get 2 times bleach. The reasons being, when your hair is dark, you have strong and warm pigmentation in the hair, after 1 time bleach, the warmth is not coming out 100%, there still will be orange undertone. Hence we will need to bleach another time to clean up the warm...th, and get a CLEAN base or known as 'clean canvas' to colour. Then we can put the cool tone on to give you the ash colour. When you keep washing your hair, the colour will fade lighter and lighter to the 'canvas' colour we bleached - clean blonde. If you keep using purple shampoo, the yellow will be neutralised and give you a cleaner blonde looking.
