24.01.2022 Did you know we laminate leather hides? Many of our customers have found this to be a convenient and efficient way of dealing with their hides. After your hides are trimmed square, joined and laminated they will arrive in a convenient roll form. We do have an MOQ for this type of lamination

24.01.2022 This is a product we are now laminating to leather. It's our Aussie Grey with a poly/elastin backing. Retains the shape of the leather to greatly reduce stretching or pooling and gives the leather a lovely soft feel. This video is a run of 17 hides all joined together to create an extremely easy to use roll. We also sell our Aussi Grey Poly/Elastin in cut lengths for hand glueing . 24.01.2022 When we say Flame Lamination, mostly everyone responds with, What’s that?. Well, Flame lamination is a process in which a foam is passed over an open flame to create a thin layer of molten polymer, which is then used as an adhesive to bond the two materials together.

23.01.2022 This is Tonneau, it's been laminated to 6mm foam. Tonneau is usually used as an external cover material but with the foam now laminated to it the tonneau, it will be used to make heavy duty bags and covers with a soft internal liner.

20.01.2022 Just a reminder that QVTL are also leather laminators throughout Australia. We can laminate your leather to our standard foam/ spunbond or to our specialised foam / lycra backing. We introduced this product to Australias biggest boat manufacturer over 2 years ago and it has literally solved their issues with leather pooling/ stretching. Providing the Marine, Automotive, Furniture, Office Partitioning and clothing industries with a quality foam bonding service for vinyl and textiles products. Our factory is convienently located in Ormeau halfway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane.... Flame lamination is the process in which foam is bonded to fabric. This is achieved using the latest flame lamination technology. The two materials are bonded by passing the foam over an open flame. Exposure to the flame creates a thin layer of molten polymer on the foam surface, which is then brought into contact with the secondary layer under pressure to develop a bond between the two surfaces. We have the versatility and expertise to meet your textile lamination needs. With our state of the art laminating facility we have the ability to provide you a unique personal service.

04.01.2022 This is a sunbed we recently manufactured in our upholstery shop using HVG Mystic White laminated to 3mm foam. When working with reticulated foam a laminated cover really gives a much softer look and hides any lumps and bumps or foam joins.

01.01.2022 Aussie Grey Overlay, ideally used in automotive, marine and furniture upholstery for overlays and covering rough surfaces. Spunbond backing gives the foam a smooth surface which allows for smooth sewing and stops adhesive products bleeding through the foam. Aussie Grey is FL27-170 fire retardant foam and comes in 3,6,9,12mm thickness.

01.01.2022 If you have a textile you need bonded to another, we can flame laminate it using an extremely thin layer of foam. The result is a permanent bond with less than 1mm of foam. An extremely effective and strong alternative to powder or glue based lamination.
