21.01.2022 Balance....... This has probably been one of the hardest things for me to achieve to date since starting my own business. Being a woman, I find it especially hard at times due to the extra pressure and guilt I often feel as I try to juggle all of my assumed roles.. mum, home maker, wife/partner. I am lucky in that my kids are young adults and I don't have young children in the mix and have a very understanding partner who, silently and graciously, tolerates the unironed mount...ain of clothes in the laundry, the messy kitchen, the late dinners, the social invitations from our friends that I have to turn down and the many nights of going to bed alone while I stay up late working. I often feel guilty of being selfish for giving so much of my time and attention to trying to turn my dream into a reality and am so grateful and thankful for my forgiving friends and family along the way. . 04.01.2022 Annoying Co-workers You would think one of the added bonuses of working from home would be not having to deal with that "annoying co-worker" anymore... apparently I was wrong Aside from running Qwerty, I am also a licensed wildlife carer and rehabilitator. This guy came into care very young and on death's door, however, after a long rehab and lots of TLC he made a full recovery, but sadly was unable to be released back to the wild. Due to his amazing loving nature and ...personality, it was decided he would stay with us and has free-flight of the house most days. His name is Floyd - Pink Floyd.
