08.05.2022 (James 4:14)"Your life is like the morning fog, here for a while-then gone." Your life is like the morning fog. It's inevitable. One day you will pass from this life and go into next. So, in light of this fact, the Bible says that whether you eat or drink,or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. We are meant to bring glory to our Creator. You didn't do anything to bring yourself into this life, so what you do with your your days on earth shouldn't be solely a...bout you.Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you,and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God brought you with a high price. So, you must honor God with your body.1Corinthians 6 :19-20 Do everything out of love.Act with love, compassion, mercy, and kindness as often as you can.Once you believe in Christ and are covered by His righteousness, your good works are no longer rubbish. 14.02.2022 Wealth alone can't save us.(Luke 12:15)"Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possession." Jesus told a parable about a man whose field had produced much. The harvest was so abundant, that He had no place to store all His crops. He decided to tear down his barns and to build new ones. And then, he thought, nothing could go wrong anymore. "And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have ample goods laid up ...for many years, relax, eat, drink, be mercy (Luke 12:19) To worldly standards, this man was very successful. But God considered him fool, because he thought that earthy riches were all he needed. He died that very same night, and he could not take his wealth with him.Material things did not count anymore;only his relationship with God was important. But this man had never paid attention to God.Jesus uses this parable as a warning."So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.Material things can make our earthly lives more comfortable, but they can't save our souls. Therefore, material things lose their value once we die.In order to enter eternal life, we need to be rich toward God. 11.01.2022 When God created man, He did not intend for a man to grow old, become weak and powerless, suffer, diseases, and die first the physical death, then the second or eternal death. God never meant for man to go through all these and for death to reign. But because of one man's offense -that man being Adam -death reigns. The ultimate death is the second or eternal death in the lake of fire. Before this death is physical death, people have diseases and illness lead to death,but... they are manifestations of death. One step before diseases and illness is tiredness, weakness and powerlessness, which are signs and symptoms of death. As you can see, death reigns!God considers death an enemy. He came to destroy death and give us eternal life. And the more we walk in the grace of God and His righteousness, the more we will reign in life. The more we believe in His grace or undeserved favor, and the more we know that we have been made righteous by His blood and not our good behavior, the more we will reign over all forms of death. For if by the one man's offense death reigned. Through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
