21.01.2022 We have just had some vacancies come available for agistment. Generous, well fenced paddocks. Hot wash, stables, agisters lounge and tack room. Storage for feed. Sand arena with lights, smaller sand arena for lunging. ... $10 per day, with your horse fed daily and rugged when required. $30 per day, to stable your horse overnight, and put out in the day. Paddocks are cross grazed with cattle and sprayed for weeds. Additional services are available at additional cost. Run by professional and very experienced horse people, we can also assist you with keeping your horse in work (riding and/or lunging), riding lessons, early education and training under saddle and ground manners. We are both EA NCAS qualified coaches, and I am an advanced level dressage rider. Located in Pakenham Upper

18.01.2022 Big congratulations to students Ella Hermon and Georgie Talbot. Ella placed 5th at Pakenham Horse Trials on the weekend, and scored a 9 for her centreline and halt in her dressage tests, and double clear for her jumping phases, while Georgie Talbot competed two weeks ago in her first ever competition, scoring four 9s in her dressage test!

12.01.2022 Who is R& R Equine Services? Mike and Libbie Rogers What do we do?... We take horses for breaking, education and training. Libbie is an advanced level dressage rider, and has ridden and trained all manner of horses, from ponies to off the track thoroughbreds, hunters and dressage horses. Mike's background has spanned hunting, eventing, and western training. He has an amazing ability to understand and work with horses, and is constantly dragged out of retirement by Robbie Griffiths to work with his "special" horses. Mike comes from generations of renowned horsemen in Wales. We are based in Pakenham Upper. We have beautifully maintained paddocks with good fencing, stables and a hot wash. We only take one or two outside horses at a time so your horse is treated as an individual not a number. We have a systematic focus to training, but we don't believe in rushing and "producing" horses. Our training is holistic, it includes ground work and in hand training as well as riding as we believe that in training a horse, you need to develop its mind, but also it's strength and fitness. Our cost is $60 per day, which is all inclusive. We feed good quality feed - Prydes feeds, and hay and supplements if necessary. If you want a confident well mannered horse then our system and training would probably suit you. If you want a quick short term fix then you probably need to try someone else. Sorry to be blunt, but welfare, manners and good training is everything to us.

Last night I received a text from her, "I had the most amazing ride on Lotti today an...d I am so happy and love her temperament. You and your husband have done a wonderful job breaking her in" I was blown away to get this feedback.

01.01.2022 We have just completed our two day Horse Mastery Workshop, with our students achieving some very positive and exciting results. It was very exciting to see six year old Tegan, and eight year old Meriah, learning to successfully lunge their ponies, not only on the flat, but over jumps, tarps and canter poles. The focus of our dressage lessons was to learn to control and move the horses' shoulders and hindquarters, in order to be better at keeping horses straight, but also to... learn to move the horse sideways, to improve their ability to coordinate lateral aids. This, in turn, improved the jumping training, with students achieving better straightness in approaching fences. In the end, each and every rider kept their horse straight and balanced, so that they were all jumping through the grid with no hands. Congratulations to all our participants, for stepping up and challenging yourself to trust yourselves and your horses, a little more. What a very exciting couple of days. See more
