23.01.2022 called out yesterday to diagnose a charge problem,charge light would not go out,customer had replaced the alternator with a new unit but no difference, I found no voltage present at the main power connection on the alt so investigating i found two badly corroded wires at the starter connection one was fuse main the other was the charge cable from alt , ,replacement wires sorted the drama but no clue as to why the cables were so badly corroded!!
