24.01.2022 It's R U OK?Day, a reminder that every day is a day to start a conversation that could change a life. Today we're calling on Australians to learn what to say af...ter R U OK? so they can keep the conversation going when someone says they're not OK. There's more to say after R U OK? Learn what to say when listening with an open mind Learn what to say when encouraging action Learn what to say when checking in Learn how to continue a conversation that could change a life. When we know what to say next we can help someone open up and find pathways to support long before they're in crisis. Learn what to say next and help us move closer to our vision of a world where we're all connected and are protected from suicide. Head to www.ruok.org.au/how-to-ask

07.01.2022 Thank you to all of our RDAQ members who entered the 'dress your horse up for Christmas' competition, here are the winners. A big thank you to Glades quilters at Halcyon Glades, Caboolture for making and donating our first and second prizes and an extra donation to Valley RDA for their 'highly commended' Christmas photo. Congratulations everyone.

02.01.2022 What an awesome little video for Christmas

01.01.2022 THANK-YOU!! Earlier this year an anonymous person donated a saddle to RDAQ. Based upon expressions of interest from Centres throughout the State, it was decided by the Board to hold a bit of a raffle and draw the winner of this amazing gift at the RDAQ AGM and RDA Townsville was lucky enough to win the draw. Thank you so much, whoever you are, for your generosity.... Thanks also to Jan Croser from RDAA for conducting the draw. The saddle fits beautifully on Townsville's palomino mare Maggie, who was the 2018 RDAA Horse of the Year and the centre are looking forward to sharing it with their riders for many years to come.
