25.01.2022 Last minute JapNats setups.

25.01.2022 Another installment of STTV! This time featuring my all time bestie and her (my fav to work on) Evo "08MR" and the last round of upgrades we did. Husband and wife team at their best!

20.01.2022 It's been a long time, but I finally have a R.E.engineered update! After working on this for many months, I'm very proud to say that R.E.engineered is able to offer ACD tuning with up to 3 additional modes for Evo 7, 8 and 9. Yes that is potential to have up to six ACD modes in Evo 7, 8 and 9's! I've been tuning the 4WD-ECU in my car and many others for nearly 10 years, but to be honest a lot of it had been guess work by just making changes and then feeling results. But no...w after a massive learning curve of learning disassembly and programming language, and combining this with specific input testing, I've been able to get a solid understanding of what tables do what and how the ECU uses them to produce an output. Building on the previous work of the Evolution community I've been able to prove the earlier theories of ACD tuning incorrect, and have also found many mistakes in how and what tables were defined as for tuning. So now moving forward, I am confident in knowing what is being changed with regard to tuning the maps within this tricky little ECU. An example of what I can offer is a four mode ACD solution. Tarmac and Gravel modes retain OEM programming for daily driving, Snow mode tuned for ultimate grip and stability (perfect for track days or those "spirited" mountain drives), and an additional Tarmac/Gravel mode specifically tuned for drag racing. The number of modes and/or the order of the purpose are all customisable. Please message if you're after more info or to see how I can provide an ACD tuning solution for you.

18.01.2022 Custom ACD tunes heading out the door today!

16.01.2022 With the entries now officially open for the 2016 Japanese Nationals, prep has begun to hopefully get the R.E.engineered Evo on the top spot of AWD Performance class again. This was one of my favorite events of last year, and I aim to make this years just as enjoyable.

12.01.2022 Well done to all the staff at Queensland Raceway and Paul Ruzic for another excellent JapNats event. It is always a pleasure to be racing at such a well organized event. Congratulations to Michael McMillan for going 1up on last year and taking out the Performance AWD class win. I had a ball trying to keep up with you, but in the end, i came up 0.2 seconds short. But the thrill of the chase...wow! Never have i been to an event where before the last session, there was 0.02 o...f a second separating 1st and 2nd. :D More than happy to take the 2nd place that's for sure! Well done mate. (Y) All in all, a great event with a Runner up in class and a 5th in the Top 10 shootout (held my position). The R.E.engineered Evo was sporting a brand new APR GTC-300 rear wing and a freshly modded APR front splitter, but, wasn't enough to take out the top spot two years running. My crew was awesome though, with the bestest pit b*&tch Sarah Lawson strutting her stuff and never letting me down. Also, the R.E.engineered Evo did have to be towed home (by Mick...just goes to show that everyone is willing to help out when and where they can at race events). On the last corner of the shootout lap, the turbo let go. But hey, that's racing! Will keep you updated on the direction for repair. ;) Thank you so much to all who came out and supported me at the event. I love you all and it makes the experience so worth it! :D

12.01.2022 Another awesome output from Reckless Panda/Ben Lawson. Love your work, mate, and is always a pleasure to be a part of your passion.

12.01.2022 The latest update to the R.E.engineered Evo is i have finally installed my flex fuel sensor. Over to BENchmark Solutions work his magic with the tune now. Eflex will still be my fuel of choice, but, it will be interesting if i can pick up a little more power with a United E85 Race Fuel tune, combined with the flexibility of being able to run 98 octane unleaded and anywhere in between. ;)

12.01.2022 Wheel alignment Tuesday. #lifebeginsatneg4degees

11.01.2022 Just over a week away until i return to the track. Lets hope that I can tidy this lap up and better the time. The added bonus will be if I can back up and be the AWD Peformance class winner again! :D P.S. Please ignore the typo in the vid. haha

09.01.2022 After a week of downtime to take care of a few action items, the R.E.engineered Evo is mobile once more! Big thanks to Josh @ MCA Suspension for fast turnaround of refreshing my Reds and Sam @ Neat Gearboxes for coming through with a spare 5th gear. However massive thanks goes to Luke and Lisa Bryant for the use of their facilities, feeding me, watering me and letting me keep the car there to do my thing. And Ben Lawson, you're a legend mate...without your hands on help, the job wouldn't have been done in time at all. As usual though, this car continues to show how wide the team effort is. From offers of parts when I'm stuck (The Next Up crew) to picking me up when needed (Alex). Everyone certainly helps make my job easier. Let's hope the smooth sailing continues!!

05.01.2022 A trouble free day of removing parts for a freshen up. Suspension will be passed back to MCA Suspension for Josh to work his magic, and replacement of syncros in the gearbox is all on me.

05.01.2022 **Evo X/Ralliart Update** I've had lots of enquiries regarding the ability to provide ACD tuning for Evo X's and Ralliart models, so here is an update for you all. Although I've still got a fairly long road to travel on this (and by means do I have an ETA of availability), what I can tell you all this that I have successfully tested the download, as well as the edit and writing of a modified ROM to the EvoX S-AWC ECU with no in-car errors! This is a big milestone, as in the ...past checksum errors have prevented the modified S-AWC ECU from being able to be reinstalled into the vehicle. There are still atleast 3 key tables which have to be defined. They are the main providers of ACD lockup. So until I'm able to enlist some more help with code disassembly, I'm still at a bit of a stall. But, progress is progress, and I'm very excited that I've been able to perform multiple successful reprograms of the S-AWC ECU with no errors.

03.01.2022 Initial testing of the Syncrotech 4th and 5th gear Pro Series carbon lined syncros is going well. Drives just like the factory ones which is what I had hoped. I will have my fingers crossed they have awesome performance and longevity in track conditions. The drag racing community in the States rave about these things, so there's no reason why they shouldn't be fantastic in a circuit environment. If you want more info on Syncrotech syncros, don't hesitate to contact me.

02.01.2022 Congratulations to Jody Mill and James Ford for coming up trumps in a close faught battle over the weekend. Jody recently contacted R.E.engineered for a custom ACD solution and the feedback I've received is as good as Jody's latest result. Congratulations again and all the best at future events! https://www.facebook.com/wishartmedia1/posts/1687415838062341
