24.01.2022 As a business who does due diligence, it will be no surprise R2A did our due diligence for Coronavirus this morning. Directors Richard and Gaye considered what precautions they can put in place to stay well, keep others well, and continue to support clients. The solution: Technology. As a business that relies heavily on human interactions in the form of talking to people and running workshops & courses, technology will be used to continue with these core activities. R2As pr...eference has always been face-to-face, where possible. However, in this current climate we are transitioning to expand the use of existing technology to deliver client services. Our Brisbane workshop is going ahead this week. These workshops are always capped to small numbers. We will be practising, and asking all attendees to practise, all safety measures in alignment with the health guidelines. We will keep you all posted with future workshops and events. See more

23.01.2022 "The primary reason for the registration of engineers is to protect the community and employers from unscrupulous and/or incompetent individuals claiming to be engineers. The immediate purpose is to protect life, critical infrastructure and essential services." 14.01.2022 ARTICLE | The rise of criminal manslaughter provisions in health and safety legislation, coupled with the registration of engineers in Queensland, NSW and Victoria, heralds a paradigm shift for engineers and the role of standards in Australian jurisdictions.

13.01.2022 "One of the odder confusions that R2A happens upon is the proposition that the laws of man are always paramount in all circumstances. It seems to occur most often with persons who work exclusively in the financial sector. From an engineering perspective, this is just plain wrong." Read our latest article on the Laws of Man versus the Laws of Nature from a Safety Due Diligence perspective >>

11.01.2022 Like everyone, we were devastated to watch Australias bushfire crisis over summer. We hope youve been able to stay safe and not been directly affected. It also details our involvement in Victorias Powerline Bushfire Safety Taskforce and the continuing committee. We hope you find it an interesting read. https://www.r2a.com.au/australia-bushfires-due-diligence/

09.01.2022 Were proud to celebrate the first World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development. For R2A Founder & Director, Richard Robinson, he wanted to become an engineer to change things, and what he enjoys most is fixing problems and getting things to work as best as they can. While, for Director Gaye Francis, she immensely enjoys the diversity and variety her career as an engineer has offered, and that the risk and due diligence work she and Richard undertakes makes a difference to society. #worldengday2020
