25.01.2022 Happy Monday!! Over this week I will be posting a training program for you to follow! These will be uploaded this week Today, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday!... This is a very general strength program; If these are popular, Every 4/6 weeks I will put together a specific one based of what is requested from you guys. In each video you will find. - The movements - The technique and explanation of each - Common mistakes This is broken into 4 days, 2 being upper body, and 2 being lower body. Today is Session 1, and it’s upper body! Session 1 - Upper Body 1. - Bench Press - 4 x 8 - Single Arm Dumbbell Row - 3 x 12 - Flat Dumbbell Bench Press - 3 x 12 - Pull Ups - 3 x AMAP (as many as possible) - Push Up - 3 x AMAP IMPORTANT - Progressive Overload. Record your weights, and reps for each session. And ensure each week you are increasing in either load and/or reps. Example - if you completed 4 x 8 bench press with 40kg. Simply increase the load to 42.5kg next time. If your push ups for AMAP were 15,8,5. Next time simply try and get more (16,10,7) Follow along, and Follow the basic progression scheme. 24.01.2022 Today is the last day the gym is open for 6 weeks! We are OPEN normal hours today! And Pilates class tonight is still ON! at 6pm tonight! Whats happening!?... - All memberships have been placed on pause, unless I have otherwise been notified by you. - It again, has blown as away how many people want to support the gym even with the doors closed, so thank you to those members who have asked to keep their memberships active! (If you wish to support the gym, simply contact me and I can do what ever you wish with your memberships) - All memberships un-pause and back to normal the day we re-open! (which we will find out over the next month or so) - We will be using the next 6 weeks to better the gym, if all runs as smoothly as I'm aiming for, I do have a HUGE announcement to let out coming out of the lockdown ;) FAQ; Are we renting equipment? 15.01.2022 I’ve held off saying anything, but I feel now is the time to speak. We have all been part of this Covid world we have been thrown into, and we have all seen and heard about the loosening of restrictions in regional Victoria. Essentially, everything is reopened (with restrictions)... APART FROM GYMS (And the obvious travel/event industry) And the only explanation I have been able to come across, is because people breathe too heavy when exercising Like c’mon. You’ve all of a sudden forgot about these things called face masks you’ve made mandatory? Problem = solved. Gyms are essential. I’m going to start fighting this. R3, we are a smaller country gym, and within the community that utilise our facilities, I can tell you there is a decent amount of people with depression, anxiety, obesity and addiction (just to name a few things) that people use the gym to fix. Pull the stats up on obesity, depression ect - there is a much bigger, definitely essential problem to solve there, The gym has literally saved lives. I’ve first hand seen, experienced and heard endless stories about how essential the gym is to people. And lastly - gyms have been one of the hardest hit in the state due to Covid. When you can, SUPPORT your local gym. I don’t care if it’s me, there are heaps of us in regional vic, Just in our surrounding area there is ourselves, South Eastern Fight Fitness, H C Fitness Stratford, Sale Health & Fitness to name a few. If your missing the gym, help spread the message. We are looking forward to be back, when ever that is.

13.01.2022 We’ve all heard the news now! Mandatory masks as of this Monday! Masks must be worn to and from the gym, if you do not have a mask on upon entry we will have to politely turn you away so please ensure you are following the new regulations! ... While you are training and exercising you do not need to wear a mask, but if you can manage to, we ask that you do your best to wear a mask throughout your session! (Obviously if you are running, in classes or working with heavier loads on the barbell ect, you do not need to wear a mask) Thank you heaps for understanding! Everyone is doing their best, and we are grateful we still get to stay open and supply you guys with a happy place to come and forget about the world and do something for you FAQS; Are we still open ? 12.01.2022 R3 has had some incredible growth this year, Which has lead to us being really busy! Which is a good thing > so we’ve been forced to adapt Jesse has been booked out and has not done an intake of clients like this since 2017, other then 1 person here or there. To keep up with the demand, Jesse has changed his service to an online service;... (Other then his current long term 1:1 clients) He has spent the last 6 months testing, trialling and perfecting the system, and it has more then delivered (see recent testimonial on our page) and is ready for intake! 10.01.2022 What’s happening at R3 this week!? - First of all, MASSIVE NEWS, as we all know, R3 has been in the transition process from set open hours to 24/7.. It is with great excitement that NEXT MONDAY the 16/11/20, R3 is OFFICIALLY 24/7!... ENTRY FOBS! - As you have seen previously, we have had our order bulk order of entry tags arrive, you MUST get this organised before the 16th, to gain access to the gym outside of staffed hours. (These are $25 and one piece of paperwork to sign ) STAFFED HOURS; - As of the 16th the gym will be staffed; - 7am to 10am, and 3pm to 7pm > Monday to Friday. (If you can’t get entry fob organised this coming week, it’s all good, we can organise a time next week to get it sorted still, if you don’t have an entry fob you won’t be able to get into gym outside of staffed hours) CLASSES; - R3’s classes are slowly starting to come back!! - Pilates with Em Emjays Pilates is back to two days this week! MONDAY and WEDNESDAY @7pm - R3’s Strength and Conditioning classes are starting back NEXT week, They were due this week, but Jesse’s schedule is extremely full this week finalising everything for 24/7 / the gym moving forward! 07.01.2022 WE ARE BACK TOMORROW! We are back, the team here at R3 has just had a break after a crazy year! We are beyond excited to get back into it and see everyone! This post will contain everything you need to know, members, public and people interested in beginning your journey here at R3 read this;... MEMBERSHIP ENQUIRIES; - January is a typically busy time of the year for gyms, we have already had an influx of messages about beginning your health and fitness journey here at R3! Which is amazing to see! - If you are wanting a membership, to check out the gym, or simply chasing more information, please message R3 and we will get back to you ASAP! - Please note - We are staffed between Monday and Friday 7am-10am and 3pm-7pm, and we are appointment only for enquiries, so either contact R3 or simply stop by and organise a time with the team to get you started :D COVID; - Personal beliefs aside, Masks have become mandatory for inside at places of business, So please come to the gym and have a mask with you when training within the gym. - We have our usual cleaning stations around the gym, please continue to wipe over equipment after use - Our security system tracks gym entry to the minute, so simply come as you please - Lastly, if you are sick, please stay away. CLASSES; - Classes are Back this week! And we hope you guys are too (Well mostly time off.. you know Jesse can’t keep out of the place ) We had a bit of a reflection today, and found some old videos (We video documented R3 from late last year to the start of the this year - and wow a few things have changed )...
