23.01.2022 Today we bidded farewell to one of our ardent supporters, Lorraine Cartildge. Lorraine always looked forward to attending our events and functions to support our cause. A proud mum and nanna who never missed to remind us of all how well her grandson did whenever Kevin had an opportunity to speak at our events. She was very supportive of her daughter Linda, our Foundation’s Secretary, always speaking highly of Linda for her passion and effort in supporting the Foundation. We acknowledge Lorraine's support of the Foundation. On behalf of all our members and supporters, we pass on our condolences to the Cartlidge family on this very sad and difficult time, Linda Nakalevu, Kevin Cartlidge, Tim Nakalevu.

22.01.2022 BAYSIDE SCHOOL MAKES FACESHIELDS FOR HEALTH WORKERS What an incredible story! Iona Brisbane are using their 3D printers to produce personal protective equipment... for Queensland's frontline health workers. They have already produced 650+ frames for protective faceshields, with an aim of 13,000 mask frames over the next 20 days. The equipment will be used by Queensland Health emergency workers to help keep them protected from COVID-19. Absolutely brilliant to see the Iona community #MakingItForQLD

18.01.2022 As Fiji's reported cases of COVID-19 continue their upward trend, Fiji's valiant frontline workers continue administering their duties. They risk their health to keep the essential services in operation to ensure the safety and well-being of the people. There is an urgency to protect these workers, their households, and the communities where they live. Typically the frontline workers are anyone who continues to work during public emergencies to provide essential services, su...ch as grocery workers, security services, petrol pump operators, post office workers, and health care providers. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for this class of workers is now a crucial part of their workwear to protect them from the risks of contracting the highly contagious COVID-19 virus. Gloves, masks, gowns, and face shields should be supplied to these workers to safely perform their duties. The level of protection is dependent on the class and sub-class of duties these workers administer. Reach 4 Your Future Foundation in Collaboration with Medical Pantry, DFAT, and Fiji Airways uplifted 5 tonnes of PPE to assist the Ministry of Health and Medical Services in the containment of the COVID-19 virus. The PPE was received by Fiji Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Services Centre on 4th June 2021.

18.01.2022 The importance of keeping a social distance is respecting your community's safety.

16.01.2022 Children of Namamanuca Primary School celebrated Diwali on the Island of Yanuya in Fiji. The Yanuya Island is a Christian community with their values moulded by the teachings of Christianity. However, children are also taught the values of multiculturism, the existence of other religious faith and how to co-exist within a diverse society. The Diwali Celebration was coordinated by the Acting Head Teacher of Namamanuca Primary school, Mr. Patemo V Tobua with support of his teaching staff and parents. The Children thought Diwali was an ideal backdrop for illuminating the school's celebration with Solar Lights constructed and donated by Australian School students in Collaboration with Reach 4 Your Fututre Foundation. The children also crafted posters, reflecting on their knowledge of the significance of Diwali.

13.01.2022 A collaborative partnership secures 2.7 Million KN95 Respirators to protect Fiji's Frontline to contain the spread of COVID-19.

13.01.2022 Establishing a routine when working from home for most can be solitary given the current social distancing directive. Managing your time, avoiding distractions and temptations can prepare you for being productive while working from home remotely.

11.01.2022 Quarantine, Pandemic, Social Distancing, and Social Isolation have all become everyday words in our communication. While these active measures help to prevent the spread of CORONAVIRUS, it may leave many of us isolated and lonely.

10.01.2022 Adhere to these simple tips, and stay safe and healthy

09.01.2022 Teachers are indeed Amazing. During these challenging times, our teachers are working altruistically to ensure our future scientists, doctors, innovators, and problem-solvers are being guided and motivated to continue learning. A teacher profoundly presents the past, reveals the present and creates the future. Let's not forget our teachers.

08.01.2022 Divali is from the Sanskrit dpwali meaning "row or series of lights". The conjugated term is derived from the Sanskrit words dpa, "lamp, light, lantern, candle, that which glows, shines, illuminates or knowledge" and vali, "a row, range, continuous line, series" (Wikipedia).

08.01.2022 When students find a social purpose in applying what they learn to a real real-world context, learning comes to life. Authentic service-learning is a stimulant,... which makes a significant difference. Students learn by doing, and in the process, they make a significant contribution to their immediate community. John Dewey asserts that a dynamic learning experience fuels young learners for the continued acquisition and creation of new knowledge. On June 9, 2021, the wild storm disrupted the lives of thousands of residents in the Yarra Ranges, disconnected and left in darkness for weeks. Lilydale Primary School’s STEM-guided Service Learning Solar Light initiative with Reach 4 Your Future Foundation found a real-world purpose for the Dandenong Ranges Community. Year 5 and 6 Students’ efforts to construct 110 Solar Lanterns emerged as a timely endeavor to advance assistance to the Yarra Ranges community facing an extended period of a power outage. Via a collaborative engagement with Mt. Dandenong Primary School, a school impacted by the storm, Lilydale Primary School established a peer-to-peer initiative to distribute the Solar Lanterns to affected residents in the Yarra Ranges community. We acknowldge the support of Shire of Yarra Ranges and Mary Tonkin a dedicated parent and a volunteer at Mt. Dandenong Primary school for making arrangements with The Mt. Dandenong Primary School community to distribute the Solar Lanterns.

08.01.2022 The word science originates from the Latin word "scientia," meaning knowledge. Knowledge overarches the proven theories of scientific laws, as hypothesized, tested and quantified through scientific methods that reflect the physical world. Have a look at how Scientist uses data analytics to simplify and explain Coronavirus.

07.01.2022 The F1 teams collaborate with NHS England in the designing, prototyping, and testing to develop an innovative ventilator to support the frontline health carerers, protect ill patients against COVID-19.

06.01.2022 Reach 4 Your Future Foundation Ambassador Samu Kerevi pledges his support to the young Australian students embarking on a service-learning initiative to construct Solar Lanterns to help Fiji's Island communities facing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the aftermath of Cyclone Yasa. 06.01.2022 2020 has been a year full of challenges and difficulties. Many have lost their primary source of income, their livelihoods, and some have been unfortunate to lose a loved one. Children have been impacted by the measures put in place to combat the pandemic, socially isolated from face to face learning and their peers.
