24.01.2022 I have had a vege garden plan in my mind since we built the house we are currently in 4 years ago. When COVID started affecting our state earlier in the year I suddenly NEEDED this vege garden. Isn’t it funny how our primal survival instincts come through in moments of stress... I had to be able to propagate my own food . Needless to say it was slim pickings at Bunnings because everyone else was doing the same thing, but there is something so special about eating your own produce. @twolittleducklings Planet Love cards have some fantastic ideas on how to care for our environment - we still have some stock available now

23.01.2022 The rabbit in Rabbit & Rose. Or also fondly known as Tootsie around here! This bunny hardly leaves our eldest daughters side and so the half of the business that is named after her is technically named after her favourite stuffed toy . Rose is the middle name of our youngest daughter - aptly so as she is petite, oh so sweet, but also very much has a wild side! Ps. Any tips for sneaking this guy into the wash undetected greatly appreciated . I’m now told with tears that he doesn’t smell like tootsie anymore when I do manage to put him through a (fragrance free!) wash .

21.01.2022 Happy Fathers Day to Mr Rabbit & Rose. My husband Tom handcrafts all of our wooden pieces and is always patient and proactive with my (sometimes near impossible ) design requests. As a father, he is everything two little girls could hope for as a role model , we appreciate him today and always!

20.01.2022 Christmas Wreaths - do you make your own? We have a plastic one that is definitely seen better days. Luckily we have step by step instructions on how to create a nature wreath in our Your Wild Imagination Book by @yourwildbooks ! We can’t wait to forage and create our wreath together as a family this year. We have a handful of Your Wild Imagination books left in time for Christmas .

19.01.2022 6 M O N T H S Today marks 6 months since we launched our online store and the beginnings of our wooden product range! Wow what a crazy, fun and exciting 6 months! In that time, we have handmade and sent our products to customers all across Australia. Our following has grown to nearly 3,000 (!!). We have expanded from a handful of items to over 100 products on our virtual shelves, and have stocked some incredible brands and products that we are so fond of @twolittleducklin...gs @kitpasaustralia @mercuriusaustralia @heydoodle_ @yourwildbooks @redparka @themontessorinotebook @mindfulmunchkins We have had some amazing brand reps (legends) who have championed our products and brand (thank you, thank you!). We have grown, learnt, shifted and manoeuvred and most of all LOVED every moment of the last six months. We are so excited for 2021 - my mind is overflowing with ideas - watch this space! A big thank you for the last 6 months of following along and supporting our small biz!

17.01.2022 Hello Quite a few new followers so I thought I better jump on here and introduce myself! I’m Breanna (Bree for short!), the owner of Rabbit & Rose, and co-designer behind our wooden range. Our products are manufactured by my incredible hubby (more on him later if I can get him in front of the camera hehe ) and sometimes you’ll see me on the tools too, and you will always see me on the paintbrushes. I like products that are both aesthetically pleasing, but also have a real...ly great purpose and you’ll usually find me scribbling brain waves on notepads, whiteboards, receipts... My history is commerce, marketing, management and property, and I am currently on extended leave from my Masters in Occupational Therapy, in which I eventually hope to specialise in paediatrics. Becoming a mother of two has by far been my life’s greatest achievement, and has taught me more about myself and my purpose in life than anything else. Finally, a fun fact: Harry Styles walked past my husband and I in a New York airport carrying a guitar, slightly smiled at us, kept walking. I said, he looks familiar. One week later I was at the hairdressers flipping through a magazine, and there he was pictured out the front of the airport with his guitar on his way to visit Taylor Swift !! See more

17.01.2022 Who else learns just as much about the world as their child when they read to them? There are some fantastic children’s books on the market, I really have no self-restraint when I see one for sale that I think my kids (and myself!) will enjoy. Our bunny book stand is the perfect learning accessory. We’ve even been using it to prop up puzzle boards as an invitation to explore on our playroom shelves, to hold the iPad while I cook from a digital recipe, and also to hol...d a deck of flash cards! 03.01.2022 Getting out of the house with small children - at what age does it get less chaotic ? The house always ends up a complete mess as I try and organise everyone out of the door which leaves more work when we return . Our eldest starts school this year so please do let me know if you have any tricks or tips for leaving the house in an orderly fashion so I don’t spend the whole day cleaning!!
