22.01.2022 ATTENTION: NEW DATE, VRRC BROADFORD DEC 11th & 12th. The Preston Motorcycle Club are relieved to announce that after some hard work by our committee and the t...eam at Broadford, the Victorian Road Racing Championships Round 3, originally scheduled for Oct 16th & 17th has been rescheduled to become Round 4 Dec 11th & 12th at Broadford State Motorcycle Complex. After much hard work and rearranging of schedules Preston have been able to secure a date that suits the majority and addresses issues caused by COVID and a fluid international and ASBK racing calendar, impacting our series. After consultation with members of the racing community, the series organisers concluded that our new date is not ideal, being so close to Christmas, and two weeks after our round 3 at The Bend but better than the only other option of dropping the round. We would like to thank Champion's Ride Days, Sidecar Racing Club of Victoria Motorcycling Victoria and Broadford State Motorcycle Sports Complex for their flexibility and support in moving their scheduled events which has made this new date possible. We appreciate the support and understanding that our stakeholders, sponsors, riders and the racing community have shown as dates were changed and changed again. We have been blown away by your response and shows of support as we worked through it. It's a testament to the racing community. We apologise again for any frustration and inconvenience caused. The PMCC team hope this good news brightens the day of Lockdown racers and race fans alike knowing that the second half of the year will be packed with great racing.
