24.01.2022 This sucks but it’s just the way the world is at the moment. Beat the blue has been moved to the day after a big day/night event. Poor #project86 is going to have a big weekend

18.01.2022 The racefix daily doing what it does best this morning Unfortunately it’s not a part for #project86 or any of our cars for that matter. #motorsport #gearbox #transmission #gc8

14.01.2022 Japan does it best: https://thenaritadogfight.com//feature-renewed-ambition-s/

09.01.2022 Spotted this rocket at Trackschool today. I’ve been trying to convince Mrs Racefix to buy a VA sti and this might be the straw to break the camels back!

05.01.2022 Bit of a random post from me tonight. Yesterday marked 2 years since I left for Japan with my best mate Marko. I was scrolling through some photos and remembered some of the cool stuff we saw so I thought I’d dump some of my favourites here Miss this place, COVID ruined 2 work trips to Japan last year. Hoping we can get back there ASAP. #japan #jdm #motorsport #travel #racefix

01.01.2022 We had a bit of a frustrating weekend with #project86. I took the car out for some laps to get a feel for the new brakes and coilovers on Sunday afternoon, netting a 1:09.3 before handing the keys over to our go-to 86 expert Tim Brook who punched out a 1:08.7. I went over the data and found almost all of the time was turns 3-5. The plan for today was to get in the car early and try the new approach to turn 3,4 and 5 before trying to go for my own 1:08. While I had the car up ...in the air checking brakes and tyres I noticed I had destroyed the front swaybar end link while I was taking passengers out yesterday afternoon. I very quickly learnt the importance of a front sway bar and how horribly the car drives without one. It was super vague over the nose on turn in before it snapped into oversteer. The total opposite of #project86 which is typically nice and sharp in the front with very progressive and predictable break away. This is the quickest lap of today with a 1:10.2 including a few massive errors, using way too much curb and my Jims mowing impersonation but I think this lap pretty much sums up how the car felt and how I was driving. Pretty disappointing weekend but the car felt great yesterday and I know where I need to find the time. We'll get her fixed up and try again soon. #racefix #motorsport #zn6 #trackschool #vsport #zestinotyre #CoxAutomotive #PVS #PrestigeTyreandAuto p.s. Remember to clip in your HANS device, it's abit useless if it isn't clipped onto your noggin.
