25.01.2022 Bondi Boy update. Yesterday he ran at Kembla Grange and he showed heart. Worked well into the race and came out for clear ground at about the 350m, went to change his leading leg and he lost balance for a few strides, regained balance and took a little more ground off what he lost. Last but he has come through the run very well, ate up and felt very good this morning, completed full stretches and we will keep working with him.
21.01.2022 So here is an update on Bondi Boy. I am really getting excited, as a bodyworker, at the changes I am seeing that you may also see when comparing the photos below. 10.01.2022 Bondi Boy is set to race at Mudgee on Saturday. Today I gave him my standard pre race massage and stretches, and I could not be happier with his improvement. His coat has come on, shedding the whisps of hair, his back has further improved and released underlying scar tissue, his muscle has changed in that the dressage work on the flying changes has increased his balance and proprioception in changing the hind legs and the front legs when doing a flying change. 08.01.2022 Here is Bondi Boy's morning work at Hawkesbury. Really happy with his continuing improvement following the educational flatwork. Note how the Left and Right forelegs are working much more evenly. Even two starts back the right leg action was 3 inches higher than the left. Trainer, Marty McInerney feels he is doing his best work so far. Our goal was and is to regain his confidence in his body and rebalance his body. It is a pleasure to be his charge... that is what we really are after all.
