Bodykit is a bit rough but race car. Has a number of good bits fitted. Tuned on 98, makes 308rwkw on 18psi. Engine has been built at some point and is a 2.2 stroker, however not built by us so don't know the exact details. We fitted the GTST gearbox years ago along with the battery isolator & did some maintenance on the ca...r. Compression is good however has some variance between cylinders. In for a pre track service, battery relocation, motorsport isolator, Motec C125 race logging dash and some additional temp and pressure sensors to help monitor all the vitals. 20.01.2022 Our 350z Long tube circuit header development continues. Another black art that we wanted to persue and learn some things. Torque, power, Rpm, pipe size, flow, scavenging, reversion.. Urgh.. So many variables to consider (some often overlooked) but confident we have a good starting point. Got them tucked up nicely too. Happy with how it looks. 19.01.2022 Looking for an affordable track day alternative? The 350z is often overlooked. That’s why we bought one for our next project! With the ever increasing prices of GTR’s we have recognised our customer base is hesitant to get out there and attend local club track days. With a 350z/370z we can develop a vehicle that is affordable, fun to drive, will handle, can be made to go fast and be competitive. The Z33 chassis is an excellent base and being a circa $10k car is a very afford...able starting point. The motors have huge potential, parts are available and don't carry the GTR tax! We have started development on the Z33 & Z34 platforms, focusing mainly on track setups, weight reduction, chassis development, engine developments (NA & turbocharged), suspension & aero. We see the car in naturally aspirated form being competitive in endurance events, club events or tarmac rally, and in turbo form will challenge the clock. We will put some Racepace magic into it and see what happens! 17.01.2022 Well this is a sad day. Our R32 is sold and going to its new home in QLD. This was a hard one to let go of, but it's all prepped and ready for its new owner to go and enjoy it. Sometimes money just doesn't replace the hours and effort that goes into something, however it was a fun build and the car proved itself to us on the track. 16.01.2022 A little bit of filler while we are in lock down and have some spare time. Aerodynamics is an art form in itself and often overlooked. We wanted some front aero for our project 350z circuit car and looked at what was available. A number of products were out there but no real data on if they worked or not. The question we were then faced with was spend lots without the data or start from scratch and develop the data. So we decided to have a go making a front splitter, do it fo...r ourselves and learn along the way how certain elements can achieve certain results on this particular chassis. After reading lots of books, gathering information and applying common principles this is what we came up with to start off our journey. It incorporates some basic design elements including an air dam, diffusers and is rigid. A good starting point to gather some vital information. The moral to it all is... Trial and error, gather information, experiment, learn and apply. Don't be afraid to have a go. Stay safe. 12.01.2022 Some Motec yummy. Just finished up a C127 Race Logger full dash replacement on an R35 circuit car. Custom wire in and integrated perfectly with the rest of the vehicles systems. Also fitted a Motec V2 camera system to compliment and aid in data analysis. Neat and tidy, just the way we like it.

07.01.2022 Some more covid filler for you all. We got the opportunity to tune this 6.1L Hemi on a Holley EFI system. We had so much fun with our Jeep SRT we opened our arms to this one. Up until now we always associated the Holley name to carburettors, and were sceptical of the capability/tuning potential of their EFI ecu (given we tune a big variety of high end ecus).. We couldn't have been more wrong with this assumption. Bang for buck this system works exceptionally well and has a g...reat simple to use interface. Definitely an eye opener. Our hats are off to Holley for this one. While the tuning platform was a little foreign to us initially, tuning principles remain the same and we were able to develop a solid VE map and timing map for the motor. We got this otherwise stock 6.1 to 260rwkw and making all the right noises. #racepacemotorsport #hemi #hemituna #holleyefi

05.01.2022 It's always nice to see the old cars come through the workshop. Classic FJ powered DR30 in for a more modern and responsive turbo package. We upgraded the old T04E to a new G25-550, upgraded the external waste gate, made a new custom dump pipe and added a recirc blow off valve. Out with the lag, in with the response.

02.01.2022 It's not always RB's here at Racepace! Our customer found the weak spot in the OEM VQ35 rods and why boosting & leaning on a stock unopened VQ generally leads to a rapid block disassembly. We worked with the customer and formulated a plan to build a Racepace forged VQ stroker motor for his 350Z circuit car. The old engine already had a HKS 7040 supercharger kit which while on the smaller side, would still generate some decent torque, so it stayed along for the ride. As peak ...power would be limited by this supercharger, it also meant the motor wouldn't be breaking a sweat which was our customers main priority over power (for now). Starting with a VQ35DE engine, capacity has been increased from 3.5L to 4.1L with a Nitto stroker kit. Forged & coated custom pistons, HR head gaskets & block modifications, HR head bolts & valve springs, Racepace bearings, Nismo oil pump, Central 20 extended oil pan, new timing gear & the usual Racepace magic. 02.01.2022 We stuck the Racepace Jeep SRT on the dyno and gave it our Stage 1 tune. Made some improvements in the mid and high end over the stock tune. Time to add the blower and boost this thing!

02.01.2022 !! QUICK UPDATE !! Racepace is still open and taking bookings, however we have implemented some precautionary measures to mitigate the potential spread of Covid-19 and to help protect both our customers and staff. These include disinfecting customers cars (steering wheel, gear stick, door handles, keys etc) before we start working on them and also before handing them back to the customer. We are also constantly disinfecting our front of house, workshop and tools, and have ha...nd sanitizer available for use to customers. For now we are not allowing 'walk ins' off the street. 01.01.2022 Dyno time for the Racepace SRT with some boost! We went with a small capacity 2.3L Magnuson blower on our stock 6.4 SRT along with some headers and an upgraded throttle body as a good starting point. Bit of tuning and we got great gains across the board. Adding 100rwkw over stock on 8psi of boost with safe ignition timing and 98 pump fuel. Totally transforming the car. While we consider this an awesome entry level upgrade for SRT owners we are going to take this further. Time to pull the motor, add some forged components and replace the baby Maggie with a big capacity blower and more boost. Party time!
