22.01.2022 All entrants over 18 went in the prize pool for the Victorian Goldfields Railway 'Drive the Train' experience and Jason Clancy was our lucky winner! #RTT2019 Today's race train driver John was only too happy to make the award and give Jason the train driver's official lid.

17.01.2022 Race the Train day today! Our team are busy preparing for on the day registrations and bike plate pick starting 9am at the Camp Reserve Netball Club Rooms in Castlemaine. Remember to get here early to avoid the rush! ... Parking in the train station carpark accessible from Gingell Street, not in the reserve itself. #RTT2019

15.01.2022 Who has footage and/or stories of the incredible roo that bounded straight by our traffic controller's stop sign and almost skittled the field as the group left Camp Reserve! We're not sure who was more surprised as the huge roo slammed the brakes on and skidded sideways towards our riders, before safely bouncing away, leaving itself and riders unhurt...

09.01.2022 Jason James from our Bicycle Superstore Giant Masters team decided to see what was faster; a Giant XTC 29er Advanced or the Goldfields Steam Train. He got into ...the winning break of 3 and beat the train home with a 3rd place finish. If you haven't heard of the Race the Train event before put it in your calendar for next year, it's a fantastic and extremely fun race! See more

01.01.2022 John Hoy the @vgrailway train driver and opponent today, was buzzing with excitement this morning, pre-race, even with the weight of the number 1 saddlecloth. By the finish, 8 riders had reached Maldon before him.
