17.01.2022 So 12 votes to 1 is a pretty emphatic show of support from the Albany Council for our little runway event. Although we are a small(ish) cog in the RW managerial machine, it’s humbling to have that level of support for the entire group. Time to roll up the sleeves once again and put in more hard work to make 2020 the best event we’ve held yet. Count down starts now - 179 days to go so make them productive! Riggs + Huggy

16.01.2022 Next Tuesday (28th May) the Albany Council votes on the future of Racewars, Cash Days, The Racewars Sprint (and your favorite shit talking commentary team). The meeting is open to the public and you CAN have your say directly to those in power. This vote alone won't "save" RW or magically make everything perfect in the world but it's a start. If you want to see Racewars remain a fixture until 2022 this is an opportunity to help!
15.01.2022 Our thoughts are with Brody's family and friends in this very difficult period were they have lost a mate, a son, a brother. Like many of us, he was a car enthusiast - participating in the event and pursuing his passion. We've have a flurry of messages from many competitors, spectators and generally curious people to both our Racewars Radio page and personal accounts for those that are friends - while we realise that people are searching for answers, but as Jon points out in this statement, it's not our place to make comment until the police have concluded their investigation and release their findings in due course. 13.01.2022 Day 1 of Racewars 2019 has been run and done. We have already seen 9 cars go over 300km/h over 800m. The stage is set for an epic Day 2, and no doubt, records will be broken as the competitors have stepped their game up for 2019.

Please take the time to check your trailers or caravans to ensure they are in good working order. We want to have you all there in one piece to enjoy the spectacle!
