24.01.2022 Two stunning beauties, Mieka Leitch with Lucio Do Rei (affectionately known as Lucio). The magnificent Cremello Lusitano Stallion from Noble Shadow Baroque Horse Stud and the stunning Mieka are pictured here in the beautiful surrounds of Kryal Castle.

So many touching moments of owners with their horses and experiencing the love and connection with their horses at Liberty. Kim was amazing to watch and teaches the Art of Liberty in such a beautiful way, helping her clients connect with their horses at liberty to riding bitless to riding bridleless.

23.01.2022 My first experimentation of digital art....the stunning Lucio Do Rei of Noble Shadow Baroque Horse Stud, turned into a Pegasus. Im sure over time the finer details will get better with practice.

22.01.2022 Meet the beautiful Mia, with her gorgeous quarter horses. Mia owns Valley Horse agistment where all horses enjoy breath taking surrounds and paddocks with immaculate facilities and the best of care. Living their best life at Valley Horse Agistment in Berwick are Mias matching pair of stunning quarter horses. Brandy is 30yrs old now retired and her handsome replacement and best friend, Ollie at 10yrs of age is besotted with his lovely (and much older girlfriend) and constant companion. Teddy, my pup, was just 8 weeks old at the time and decided to photo bomb one of the pictures!! Mia is such a welcoming and genuine person who love for her own horses and agistees shine through.

17.01.2022 I had the absolute pleasure to photograph the stunning Minna riding the magnificent black friesian stallion, Valiant from Noble Shadow Baroque Horse Stud. Minna rode Valiant beautifully and made a stunning duo to photograph, more images to come over the week.

13.01.2022 Teddy had a great day at Kryal Castle a few weeks back before lockdown, and we are missing being able to visit, so I was browsing through youtube and it looks like Teddy misses it too

13.01.2022 Sir Phillip and Lady Renee battled it out at Kryal Castle yesterday with the magnificent stallion Noble Shadow Valiant going head to head with his own stunning son, Marisma Imperious, an upcoming warhorse. Sir Phillip and Valiant won skill at arms by 2 points and jousting with 5 points. Was a very exciting day having a "father vs Son" and watching these two impressive warhorses battle it out.

13.01.2022 I was very fortunate to take a trip to Barmah Forest to photograph these stunning brumbies. The Barmah Brumbies are safe for now but only until July. The Barmah Brumby Preservation Group have fought, protected and watched over the brumbies for years. Please visit their page. All Victorian Brumbies are in danger. After spending a morning watching and photographing this beautiful herd my heart was in two places. One, just in awe of the magical experience of being with them, it... truly is an amazing experience, then my heart was saddened at their impending fate. There are thousands of people trying to save our Victorian Brumbies, the most urgent being the Bogong Brumbies in the high plains. Please visit the Rural Resistance page, where Phil Maguire along with Bill Tilley MP and other cattleman are out there right now trying to save the Bogong Brumbies by rounding them up to get to safe land owned by Phil and Louise Maguire . Phil and Louise really need everyones help. Also visit the Heritage Brumby Advocates Australia you will find more information and links to help. There are a number of Brumby Groups and organizations that also have information and links. I would like to thank Kim Mic from Barmah Brumby Preservation Group for helping me locate these beautiful brumbies. Kim, Julie, Murray and others are guardians of these brumbies, although these brumbies are safe for the time being, if this culling of the brumbies is not stopped, this magnificent herd and others of the Barmah Forest will be in danger come July. Barmah Brumby Preservation Group will need your support to protect them . Having just spent a short time with this herd, I cant explain how beautiful it was. A time that will be most memorable to me. I can only imagine for those who are directly involved, those who watch, visit, photograph and advocate for our brumbies on a regular basis, how heartbreaking the plight of the brumbies must be for them. There is alot of misinformation going on, so I do ask, at least visit their pages, get up to date with the facts and support them in anyway you can. Share their posts, sign their petitions if you havent already. And if you think its just a bunch of horse lovers over reacting, take the time to read and be informed. I will be posting more images over the next few days. As this was just an personal experience I just wanted to have and share, I ask, instead of sharing this post, again, please go to Rural Resistance and Heritage Brumby Advocates Australia and share their posts instead. 11.01.2022 One of my most honored moments as a photographer was when Lisa and Phillip Leitch asked me to be their stud photographer for their stud, Noble Shadow Baroque Horse Stud. They took me on when I was still learning photography! Lisa and Phil have helped me become more confident and always inspire me to be a better photographer (and more creative.) This is my latest "creation" of the 2 most loved and stunning stallions proudly standing at Noble Shadow Baroque Horse Stud.

07.01.2022 It has been such an honor to photograph Lucio Do Rei (affectionately called Lucio) over the years and watch him grow and mature into the stunning cremello Lusitano stallion that he is. Its been a privilege to be apart of Lisa Leitchs journey with him over the years and the they bond they share is truly inspiring. Such a magnificent stallion. 06.01.2022 The Brumbies fight for survival need everyone's help and Parks Victoria decision to cull our brumbies has outraged and saddened so many people. Those who know me as a photographer know my photography is based more around medieval horse photography and some portraits, my main interest in medieval horse photography, and I'm only pointing this out as I am not posting to get more likes, to become more known, just a horsey photographer sharing one experience photographing brumbies... because I thought I had plenty of time to do so one day!!. So I am sincere in saying RATHER than share my page of any posts of brumbies, I am sincere is truly asking to please go to Rural Resistance, Barmah Brumby Preservation Group, Australian Brumby Alliance, Victoria Brumby Association, Brumby Lives Matter and any other Brumby Group I might not of known about or mentioned and share their posts, their links, their information (I should know how to share links but I don't know how to, if anyone can help me figure that out I would appreciate it!!). As a horse owner I have always admired the spirit of my horses, found comfort in that silent connection and humbled by their trust. Many horse owners of all breeds would relate to that. My personal experience of photographing the magnificent brumbies was so magical, I truly can empathize with the devastation for those who have fought for them for years, those who watch over them, re home them, and for those who have the pleasure to be in partnership with them. I only reason I haven't shared directly from Brumby Group pages is because if I do so, I can't boost my post to reach more people . 04.01.2022 Stunning in red, Annie, had an amazing photo shoot with Valiant in the surrounding forest of Kryal Castle. Valiant, the stunning and talented black friesian stallion (Noble Shadow Valiant from Noble Shadow Baroque Horse Stud at Ballarat) is an amazing horse to work with for photo shoots. He has such a presence about him yet, is so kind to all those who wish to have an experience riding or being photographed with him. Annie hadnt ridden for a number of years, but Valiant put her at ease making it possible to capture these stunning images for her.

02.01.2022 As most horse lovers know our Victorian Brumbies are in danger and culling of these iconic and beautiful horses was about to occur last Sunday, 17th May with shooters in place ready to kill. Phil Maguire had gathered cattleman to help him round up the Bogong Brumbies to get them to his property for safety. Just hours before culling was to commence, Phil and Louise managed get an application for an injunction preventing the Victorian Government from any shooting in brumbies in... the Victorian Alpine Country and going as far as putting up their property to fund ongoing court battle and now need those who can help by setting up a GoFundMe Page. 02.01.2022 Ive been looking at my old photos to re edit of when I was learning photography and found the first photo that inspired me for my love for Equine Photography with a Medieval theme. This image is of the beautiful Kathyrn Whiteford and my very own noble steed, Bailey, taken about 4 years ago. Brings back wonderful memories. Andrew Whiteford (my photography teacher) and his wife, Kat (pictured) have been amazing mentors to me. Im glad I found this image, brings back wonderful memories.
