22.01.2022 More stunning views from Mount Jerusalem National Park, this one looking south from the track to the summit of Mt. Jerusalem. I took this at about 6pm, only an hour earlier vision was limited by cloud to about 50 meters in the entire park. It was liberating to finally see the views and feel the sunshine.

19.01.2022 A collection of native flowers from Rocky Cape National Park

17.01.2022 Walls of Jerusalem National Park: Native Flowers Richea scoparia, a flowering endemic species found in the central windswept highlands of Tasmania. This was a stand out of the gorgeous native flowers we found on our hike through the Walls of Jerusalem.

16.01.2022 After our walk to the summit of Mount Farrell, we stopped for a picnic at Lake Mackintosh in Tullah. Absolute perfection on a still day. #Tasmania

13.01.2022 Walls of Jerusalem National Park: The view from Solomon's Throne. An incredible view of King David's Peak, Lake Salome and the Walls of Jerusalem walking track. Well worth the climb to 1396m.

11.01.2022 We were relieved to discover a nice flat path at the top of Quamby Bluff, even it it was a little bit wet.

06.01.2022 A few snaps from a difficult hike I completed last weekend around Cradle Mountain. A truly incredible place to be up near the clouds on a sunny day.

06.01.2022 Looking up into the canopy on Mt. Fortescue. The upward direction of the air being pushed up over the larger sea cliffs along the three capes track sees the air cooling to create small pockets of old growth rainforest amongst the coastal vegetation.

06.01.2022 Surveyors Cove, the final sea level destination on the three capes track for 4 days, before you head up to some of the highest sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere.

06.01.2022 Bastion Cascades. Incredibly green moss everywhere you look sets this waterfall apart. This was a tough walk in, but worth the effort.

04.01.2022 Walls of Jerusalem National Park: Trappers Hut Located 3km from the entrance to the national park, Trappers hut is a reproduction of the original 1949 hut built by fur trappers in the area.

03.01.2022 A weekend away started right at the top of the South Sister, near St. Marys, Tasmania.

02.01.2022 Mucking around at the beach on a rainy day

02.01.2022 Walls of Jerusalem National Park: The Descent into Dixon's Kingdom The combination of boardwalk and garden path type stepping stones in Dixon's Kingdom is made all the more magical when shrouded in cloud.

01.01.2022 The Port Arthur Jetty, SE Tas. We were waiting eagerly on a misty Wednesday morning for the beginning of our Three Capes adventure and the scenery was already putting on a show. Many more photos to come. #threecapes #tasmania
