Jarrod has been fighting acute myeloid leukaemia, a type of blood c...ancer that results in an over production of immature white blood cells. 13.01.2022 WOW we were completely blown away by the love and support for The Rachael Doherty High Tea last weekend. . We raised over $40K. 02.01.2022 Today is World Cancer Day. There are more than 100 different types of cancer and while there are 3 main blood cancers (leukaemia, myeloma and lymphoma) there a...re many more subtypes. Each with its own complex nuances when it comes to treatment and diagnosis. That is why we have invested in genomic testing. The Wilson Centre for Genomics has been operating Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre for 18 months. In that time it has corrected 280 diagnoses. Updated 400 prognoses. Helped 100 patients receive targeted therapy and 5 patients gain access to clinical trials. Let us celebrate the wins but never lose sight of the end goal. Help us find a cure. See more
