12.01.2022 Introducing another one of our incredibly talented ensemble of actors for Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens, RACHEL JUHASZ Rachel is an experienced si...nger with countless solo, group, big band and live theatre performances under her belt. Her theatrical credits include principal roles as the formidable Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes (Whitehorse, 2010), Sally Bowles in Cabaret (Catchment, 2011), Carol Channing and Ethel Merman in Forbidden Broadway, Greatest Hits Volume 1 (SHooSH!, 2009), Alice Beineke in The Addams Family (WMTC, 2015), Mrs Tottendale in The Drowsy Chaperone (Fab Nobs, 2013) and Liz Imbrie in High Society (CLOC, 2009). For the 2010 Midsumma Festival she presented a highly successful season of her self-penned solo cabaret My Judy Journals (featuring the songs of Judy Garland) at the Butterfly Club and went on to present the show at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. This is Rachel’s second ‘straight’ acting role since her role as Mavis in Stepping Out with Sherbrooke Theatre Company in 2014 and she will fully return to the musical realm as part of the ensemble for CLOC’s May production of Les Miserables.
