22.01.2022 n e w m o o n Tonight the dark moon is in Cancer. Feel all the feels & tap into your intuition. 3 planets will additionally be visible; Saturn, Neptune & Mars. Have you tapped into your feelings recently? Like for real?..... For me, yesterday I started the week by visualising myself pressing the reset button to assist in re-aligning my thoughts & feelings. To get down a bit more personally, I’ve just started on a new medical device and it’s been a whirlwind, not just for the anxiety towards a new device I wear everyday but learning a very different approach to something I’ve pretty much been on auto-pilot with for 29 years. It is a lot to manage in these heavy times, let alone any time. I chose to accept the challenge and focus on the hard work I’ve done to get me here and all the positive outcomes I will reap. Whilst there is an abundance of mixed feelings floating amongst us all right now, remember to allow yourself to feel your feelings without judgment and never forget that it’s OK to have a cleansing cry tears are an emotional release for toxins and stress hormones. 22.01.2022 There is just something extra special about seeing your hand illustrated work professionally printed, particularly in my favourite finish, letterpress. It’s like seeing a band you’ve listened to forever play live for the first time, or seeing someone you haven’t seen in years. For me it’s that similar emotion of excitement, anyone feel the same? 21.01.2022 Branding for Coughlan Estate has been an amazing project to work on. Late 2018 we begun brainstorming ideas to curate a reflective story of the brand for the ecstatic new owners of Barton Jones Winery; soon to be re-branded to Coughlan Estate. It’s been thrilling to gradually unravel a new aesthetic for the Coughlan’s beautiful winery in Donnybrook, WA. The first two manufactured wines are a Shiraz 2019 & Rosè 2020 with more on the way.... The CE wine labels are all uniquely foilpressed with a blind embossed pattern as subtle, textured detailing. Bringing branding visuals together is literally a working-dream come true. 11.01.2022 In light of Winter Solstice & Total Solar Eclipse in Cancer. The nights have grown frosty (they definitely have here in Melbourne!) and sun has waned to bring us the shortest day and longest night. After enjoying some Sunday reading time, I’ve come across some super interesting info on an ancient Aboriginal site that’s located secretly here in Melbourne bush land, found to possibly be the oldest astronomical observatory in the world. It pre-dates as far back into Stonehenge a...nd even the Great Pyramids of Giza. Duane Hamacher who is a leader in the study of Indigeonous astronomy works with Aboriginal elders at this secret site to try piece together their knowledge of the stars and planets. It is believed there are arrangements of stones mapped out within the bush lands which track the movements of the sun throughout the year. It’s intriguing to learn more about what is out there and we will be forever learning and appreciating. R x

02.01.2022 Day 2/42 in lockdown again here in Melbourne. My head and heart are heavy but there’s so many things to nurture and be continuously grateful for. We all have our own battles in different ways and sitting with your thoughts can feel like it’s daunting, but it’s also an imposing time for self-development and self-healing. 02.01.2022 Re-brand for Sarah - the magnificent talent behind @scape_by_s , this project has been an absolute dream. Together we developed a strong, stunning vision for Scape By S to reflect her luxurious floral creations. This logo version of the re-brand is the monogram, which has been curated to resemble an antique cameo to showcase the opulence of the brand. Check in for more exhibits of this re-brand soon! ... Please Note: I am currently booked out with branding projects until mid December 2020, whilst this year has been a strange one, it’s been wild for design work.
