23.01.2022 Yesterday's maternity session was extra special for me! I photographed Lexi & Joel's wedding almost two years ago and seeing them about to become parents and how excited they are was so beautiful!

20.01.2022 Lavender Hill, it's been on my wedding photography bucket list since I first picked up my cameraWhen Shelly & Nico told me thats where they were getting married I was jumping up and down with excitement! I first met Shelly & Nico when I photographed their best friends wedding a couple of years ago. At the end of the night, Tessa & Michael asked me to take a nice photo of Shelly & Nico on the down-low as they had high hopes that Nico would pop the question soon. Fast forward... to this year, I got home one night to a message from Tessa (shellys best friend) asking what my September availability was as a friend of theirs just got engagedI had one date left. When she told me it was Shelly & Nico I was so excited and praying that the one day I had left was the day they had chosen. 20.01.2022 Like many other couples, Steph & Josh had to postpone their wedding. They had come to terms with the fact that they wouldn’t have the big party they had originally planned, but two weeks before their wedding day, all of the resections had eased and it was a green light to party! Steph, being a florist, I knew that flowers would be incorporated into every detail of her and Josh’s wedding. Walking into her childhood home, my eyes instantly fell of her stunning dress, ordained w...ith the most beautiful and intricate florals. It had been threatening to rain all day, with the clouds coming and going I was constantly checking the sky in case we all had to make a mad dash and get everyone under cover. Just as the ceremony was about to start, a light sprinkle began falling but lucky enough as soon as Steph arrived the sky cleared and a little dome formed over the farm, keeping everyone dry. Everywhere you looked, their ceremony and reception were full of flowers, the scent was just amazing! 17.01.2022 I was so excited to finally get these two in front of my camera after we had to postpone due to rona. Before I had even picked up my camera Danielle & Ned were already teasing each other and laughing together and I knew right then that this photo shoot was going to be amazing! You could easily mistake them for models and think this is what they do for a living because they were just SO comfortable in front of the camera and were giving me so much inspiration just being themselves. 16.01.2022 A drizzly winters day by the lake, surrounded by pine forests and exploring with these two, I felt like we were somewhere deep in the Colorado Mountains. It was only forecast for 5% chance of rain, but it drizzled for most of Courtney & Joshs session. They couldnt be happier though and from the second they arrived, they said This is so us! We LOVE this weather! It was cold and windy, so these two were snuggling up, trying to stay warm and I just happily snapped away. I cant wait to celebrate with them and their families for their wedding next year! Its going to feel a bit like a big reunion for me, as I photographed Joshs sisters wedding a couple of years ago and know some of their other family members from previous weddings so I know its going to be a great one! 16.01.2022 Now that wedding season is over, I finally have time for newborns again! It was so lovely to have the Cunzolo family back for their second bubba Sailors newborn photos. I photographed her big sister Noah when she was a newborn and I couldn't believe how grown up she is! I asked Hayley if she would be up for trying an outdoor newborn session and I was so excited when she said yes! This is my first outdoor newborn session and I am in LOVE! From now on, all newborn sessions will be outdoors, unposed and all about capturing the love and real moments between your family. 16.01.2022 Ive dreamed about this wedding for so longmy first one back since COVID and it was full of so much love! The happiness on Jessika & Rhys faces after they were announced officially married just says it all! Ive never seen Malanda Lodge done up this way and Jessika's vision was just incredible. The ceremony decor was scandi perfection beneath the two old trees. Entering the reception fairy lights were dripping from every tree, the long tables dotted with candles and right in... the middle was the most STUNNING rattan chair fit for the king and queen of the night! 14.01.2022 Ashlee & Caspian have such a love for the Tablelands, that they planned their entire wedding day around being able to have photos there, even though their wedding was in Cairns. With such a long distance to travel between ceremony, photos and their reception at the The Bluewater it meant we had to do their photos, during some of the harshest light of the day at 3:30pm. Now if youre a photographer in FNQ, you know that this isnt the ideal time for photos and with our harsh ...Australian sun beating down Ill definitely admit I was a little nervous, but I was up for the challenge. When I first met Ashlee & Caspian they showed me the photo that made them fall in love with my work (a dusk filled sky) and asked me if I could recreate it in the exact location, I started to sweat a little as I knew the spot they loved had zero shade which for photographers at this time of day can be scary! I explained to them that I can recreate it, but due to the time of day it would definitely look different, they were totally cool with that and said: we trust you. Fast forward to their wedding day and I was hoping with everything in me for a cloudy day, we got to the location and my wishes came true! Big, thick beautiful clouds covered the entire sky. We began shooting the bridal party, about 10 minutes into photos the clouds suddenly disappeared and the full force of the sun came out. Rhi, my second shooter for the day looked over at me and said: you got this. 14.01.2022 Charlotte was in the grade above me in high school and I always thought she was so beautiful, with her gorgeous auburn hair. In year 9 I got my first job and Charlotte starting working there around the same time. From our very first shift together Charlotte was just as beautiful on the inside and we became friends instantly! When I first started my business, she was one of my first clients and has supported me from the start. We haven’t seen each other for years, so it was so wonderful to catch up yesterday and see how her little family has grown up! Charlotte has such a fierce love for Vanessa and Damon, and she would do absolutely anything for these kids. I was just in so much awe at what a strong woman she is and how patient, caring and kind her love is.

13.01.2022 The love that this family has for each other was so heartwarming, they were constantly laughing, snuggling and just enjoying the afternoon together! From the second Jade stepped out of the car, she felt like an old friend. The sky really put on a show for us with the most dramatic sunset I’ve seen in a long time! Family sessions like this make my heart so happy, and driving home I couldn’t stop smiling! 11.01.2022 Just can't get enough of this gorgeous family! So thankful the rain held off just long enough for their photos as these guys travelled all the way from Port Douglas! Little miss Charlotte was such a sweetheart and was just so content hanging out with mum and dad. Thanks to her Uncle Charlie who came along and was a great help getting her smiling and bringing her snacks :)

10.01.2022 When Emilee & Joseph first got in touch with me to photograph their wedding this October I felt like it was meant to be as Id just had a cancellation for their date the night before! Meeting them for the first time a couple months later, it was so easy being around them and I definitely felt like the stars had aligned just so I could photograph their weddingand then COVID happened Throughout all of the craziness this year, these two have been so incredibly resilient and just taking each day as it comes. 10.01.2022 Danielle & Dustin had originally planned to get married at the farm where Danielle grew up, but due to the constant rain weve had over the last week, unfortunately, it was just too wet and they decided it would just be easier to have their ceremony at the reception venue. They had always dreamed of an outdoor ceremony and it was touch and go all day, just before the ceremony was to start the rain came back, but these two were determined and we braced ourselves for a break i...n the weather. The skies cleared and along with all of the guests wiping down the chairs, we ran into position. The rain held off just long enough for their ceremony. During their vows, Danielle started crying and Mackenzie, their little girl did the sweetest thing and wiped away her mummys tears We then headed out to the farm for photos and in 45 minutes mother nature threw just about every kind of weather at us. 09.01.2022 I wake up every day thinking about how lucky I am to be able to call this my job. Weddings always fill my heart with such joy, and each and every wedding I am still so awe stuck that my wonderful couples let me document the most intimate day of their lives. Yesterday was just a dream for Yvette & Jarryd's wedding, everyone was so relaxed all day and everything flowed effortlessly. This is why I LOVE to photograph 10 hour weddings, nothing is ever rushed and I think its so im...portant for my couples to be able to feel completely relaxed and just enjoy their day! After the ceremony, I told Yvette, Jarryd and their bridal party to go and enjoy canapés and drinks with their guests while we documented everyone mingling. 05.01.2022 I spent yesterday afternoon hanging out with these two, talking about delicious dinner places we have to try and having a good old banter together. Steph said she was excited, but nervous to have photos and I told her it's totally normal to be, everyone always is! Within the first 10 minutes, she and Josh were laughing and paying out on each other and they looked like they had done this a thousand times before :) Steph and I went to high school together and she's also one half of my favourite florist Bud 'n' Bloom! I first photographed the Nebia family when they were expecting Lucy, then we had Lucy's newborn pictures and then Kim & Bailey's wedding this exact time last year! Isn't it amazing how much can change in just one year? I can't wait to meet their newest little family member, who is due any day now!

05.01.2022 If you are looking for a wedding venue that has it all then KUR-Cow Barnwell Farm just outside of Kuranda is the place for you! After years of hard work by the amazing team, the farm is finally open for bookings and I was lucky enough to photograph their first ever wedding for Brooke & Dane! And what a wedding it was! As I drove through the big timber gates, the road opened up onto rolling green hills, dotted with cows and the most stunning view, reminding me of big sky count...ry. The ceremony spot took pride of place, nestled on top of the hill overlooking the farm and all of the guests were escorted to the ceremony in the cutest little Tuk Tuk. A stunning tree-lined grove made the perfect backdrop as Brooke walked down the aisle, but I think their little boy Kade certainly stole the show arriving in his mini bulldozer, he had the guest in fits of laughter with his serious little face. As the ceremony started the sky turned dark, but the rain held off and the rest of the afternoon. We didn't get a chance to head to the spots we had picked out earlier, but Kurcow is just that beautiful, everywhere is just picture perfect! 04.01.2022 I first met Brooke & Dane at Dane's sisters wedding a couple of years ago and I was so excited when they asked to photograph their wedding as well! 01.01.2022 I am so lucky to have the most wonderful couples! Even though these two had been hit hard with the flu, between blocked noses and gasping for air they still managed to make their photos look THIS good! I’ve known Rebekah since she was in highschool and I’d often come home from work to find her, my sisters and cousins laughing in the lounge room with all of their friends. Watching her marry the love of her life, I was bawling my eyes out and here’s why The second their song started playing, Rowell was trying his hardest to hold back the tears, but the second he saw Rebekah walking towar...ds him there was no more holding back. Seeing such an emotional reaction from Rowell, had nearly every single guest wiping tears after tears away. Watching Rowell all day, he has such an incredible love for Rebekah. Every time he looked at her you could just see the adoration, respect and pure love on his face.
