25.01.2022 Katherine & Lachlan These two kind, funny cruisers were easy to love. Lachlan is the extrovert to Katherine’s introvert (which comes in very handy when it comes to him doing the small talk at parties) - and they wanted a wedding that was laid back and meaningful. So they opted for the back yard of Katherine’s family home which meant they had the kinda party they could really get stuck in to (I’m reliably informed that there were some killer hangovers the next day ).... I’m so glad they go to sneak off for a quiet moment at the beach to soak up the newlywed bliss Lovely snap by @kirstyfikkers

23.01.2022 Amie and Milka this was all about being chilled AF and, as is COVID tradition, doing it their own way. They have the kind of love that turns you into hermits because all you wanna do is hang out together (sorry friends!) and It was my absolute pleasure to help them to promise to be each other’s lover for life. 16.01.2022 Haven’t I been a quiet little cat on here? Well, if I’m gonna break the insta sabbatical for anyone it’s gonna be these legends. Danni and Nic stole everyone’s heart. Every single vendor who worked with them wanted to keep them forevsy, and I’m no exception to that rule. And I actually am keeping them forevsy because we have plans to wine next time they are down this way. It’s an epic love story, the kind of love you hope for for yourself and the people you care about.... 15.01.2022 Aleisha and Glen Things I loved about this wedding: We said THE BIG WORDS barefoot on the grass, and completely present and connected to the space thanks to a mindfulness moment at the beginning of the ceremony. There was an incredible welcome to country - spoken in language - which was performed by a friend of the bride and groom.... During the ceremony Aleisha also said vows to her stepson and gifted him a beautiful opal I could go on and on - it was magical And always good to hang with @lyssphotostories

12.01.2022 I feel like this photo really sums Pip and Dan up he’s goofing around and she’s very patiently taking it like a champ It was such a pleasure to be their celebrant and get to know them. And what I found out about them is that they are kind, gentle, fun loving people who dream of a future that sounds a bit like a Mad Max movie to me (a big property with space to burn around on 4WD’s with friends and shoot stuff and what not). They eloped on the little island at @fridaycreek...retreat - got glammed up by @harlow_andco_ and were papped by @whitebodaphoto Then they all chuffed off back to the family home for a boozey lunch that ended in a big water fight. Perrrrrfect

12.01.2022 I love that people travel from their neck of the woods to ours to say THE BIG WORDS. Ebony and Tom brought all their favourite people over from Inverell to get married at @fridaycreekretreat and they had a ball Ebony’s mum snapped the pics, @bathtimeproductions caught the moving image goods and the girls at @harlow_andco_ made everyone feel purrrrty. Come to Coffs and get hitched, you won’t regret it

10.01.2022 Later today I will assist the most beautiful couple and their family to celebrate 50yrs married. Vow renewals are my absolute favourite - weddings are full of heartfelt promises and hope - but vow renewals take that to the next level by saying WE BLOODY DID IT! 09.01.2022 Matisse and Nikki braved an extremely hot day in the Promised Lands, Glennifer to say THE BIG WORDS to eachother. Writing their wedding was an extremely emotional experience because they are SO connected to each other in such a profound way that it was impossible not to feel connected to it. The fact that their incredibly cute little girl, Hazel, nearly ate a river rock mid ceremony did nothing to damper the mood (thanks to a quick thinking Auntie) and it was an incredibly humbling experience. I wish all my couples a love like this. Please note that Instagram shitfully cropped the second photo which was lovely by @kirishayphotography who came all the way from Sydney to give us her goods. It was just gorgeous, albeit completely different to their original plan thanks to that global pandemic which shall not be mentioned

09.01.2022 Shanae & Matt - I love seeing pics of my couples frothing their ceremonies. No idea what I was going on about here but it was certainly giving S the lols and that exactly how I like it This wedding was so personal and there was so much thought that went into making it all super spesh. 08.01.2022 Ok, so when you strip it the fuck back, it only takes about 2 minutes to get legally married. All of the other bits and bobs we chuck in is (very lovely) fluff. But some people just ain’t got no time for that. Abbie and Eamon are those people. They had a picnic on the headland with their two close friends, said the minimum legal words required to get hitched and then went back to their air bnb to call the mums and break the news and eat some snapper. It was beautiful in it’s ...simplicity because it was truly about getting married to each other and not about having a wedding that would keep everyone else happy. And then they went back to QLD the next day to pick up their new puppy, Davey No rules with weddings - you do you (it’ll be so much more fulfilling if you stick with what’s authentic to you).

05.01.2022 Can we please talk about vow renewals?!? Honestly, I seriously love them. Pronouncing people married gives me a HELL BUZZ, but pronouncing people STILL married does even cooler things to me. It’s bloody fucking awesome. Weddings are beautiful and so full of hope for the future but vow renewals honour the time you've had, all that you've accomplished and the challenges you've overcome. Get a great photographer, wear the dress you wished you'd had and invite the people who real...ly matter. I love me some love that has stood the test of time. All the same inclusions as my wedding packages, minus the legal requirements. We will put as much planning, love and effort into your ceremony as we would for a "real" wedding. @seedandsalt_photography got beautiful pics of this magical day celebrating 50 years. FIFTY. But not only the big number, still so in love. Gush
