14.01.2022 Ok guys, let's talk about meal planning.... Most of you struggle with food am I right??? What to eat, when, how much, which diet is the best??? I could go on and on.... The key to sustainable weight loss and finding your ideal weight for you to thrive is planning it out and BEING consistent while eating whole, real foods MOST of the time and not UNDER eating or OVER eating. ... Under eating will slow down your metabolism, storing onto every bit of energy it will find, leave you feeling HANGRY and it's basically just not fun. It might work quickly initially but when you plateau you have no room to move therefore not sustainable and you will probably overeat and gain more weight. Over eating obviously leads to weight gain as your body is not using up the energy stores and will therefore save it for "later". Planning out your meals helps keep you on track, saves you money and stops those last minute "don't know what to eat so just grab whatever you can find".. I am in a routine of planning and shopping on Sundays and this helps me throughout the week to stay organised and eat healthy foods. My top 2 tips with planning/shopping: 1. Don't buy tempting snacks 2. 12.01.2022 When it comes to weight loss there is one simple equation that will give you results. Want to know the secret??? Calorie deficit with increased energy expenditure!!! Simple right??? But why is it soooo damn hard? ... 1. You could be eating the wrong foods for satiety which leads to hunger allllll day long and you will eventually give in because who wants to be hungry?? Not me... 2. You could be overdoing it in liquid calories like coffees, alcohol and juices 3. Your BLT's could be adding up and your not even aware that these little extras do add up (BLT's stands for Bites Licks and Tastes) 4. You could be yo yo dieting which leads to long term weight gain because your body stores everything it can waiting for your next famine period 5. You are overdoing the "healthy raw treats" that could be equivelant to one whole meal in one piece of raw nutty slice that you are having daily with your coffee 6. You are not drinking enough water which leads to increased hunger 7. Your protein intake isnt sufficent to help with muscular repair after your training And the list goes on...
