We bought in a large order for a customer but they have left the racing scene and due to its high cost, its not widely used. VP M5 is simply the best performing methanol on the market. With its upgraded combustion additives, M5 will make more power than M1, i.e., 5% more power than standard methanol, while offering the same ...or better protection against detonation. 20.01.2022 Speedway Racers who have been using VP Late Model Plus. With the switch to unleaded fuels, we have started receiving feedback on the switch to the Sunoco EVO 10 unleaded racing fuel for these big speedway engines. Results on the dyno have been impressive with the fuel matching the same power / torque of the VP Late Model Plus with the additional benefits of the cooling effect of the fuel being ethanol based, when racing on race day helping to keep those intake temperatures lo...w Rule of thumb so far is a 12% increase in jet sizes and approx 2 degrees of timing increase. This was based on a conservative tune until the tuners are fully comfortable with the new fuel before leaning on the engine harder. If you are looking for a replacement fuel to the VP Late Model or the Sunoco HCR+ fuel for your speedway engine then give us a call. 20.01.2022 Racing Methanol - new economy version now available valued at $260.00 for 200L Drum. There has been a significant increase in "Cheap" methanol in Perth which, for very logical reasons has become very popular. With this in mind, we are now offering our own "Economy" Racing Methanol, at the bargain price of $260.00 for a 200L drum. This is still a 99% pure methanol and for the bulk of speedway racers will be unlikely to notice any difference.... For those more discerning racers who have a greater investment in your vehicle, we do recommend our higher grade premium Methanols including Power-plus, VP, Sunoco Etc. Stocks have arrived in Australia and we expect our new stock to be available from the middle of June.
