21.01.2022 Congratulations Toby! Toby has been working hard in Learner 2 to graduate to the next level! Toby has been attending lessons twice per week since our Newstart program. Toby is now ready for Intermediate 1 where he will start to learn Freestyle & Backstroke! Toby has mastered the following in Learner 2: 5 metre streamline float - correct body position. 7 metre streamline belly kick- strong, fast kick.... 7 metre kick on back. Flip swim independently. Backfloat independently. Learner 2 safety skills independently. We applaud Toby’s family for committing to raise a safer swimmer!

21.01.2022 Congratulations Elyrah! Elyrah has been attending lessons twice per week since she was 2 months of age in our Baby Splash program. Elyrah has come such a long way and we are so proud of her. She has now graduated from Discovery 1 independently swimming 1 metre, back floating comfortably, able to flip from her back to belly with assistance, reaching and releasing toys, monkey walking and completing all her Discovery 1 safety skills! Throughout Elyrah’s time in Discovery 1 sh...e has also developed great gross motor skills during our entire body movements and fine motor skills during our toy based activities! 19.01.2022 Congratulations Hallie! Hallie has been attending lessons since she started with us in Discovery 2! Hallie is now ready to graduate from Discovery 3 where she is independently swimming, able to back float, flip swim, swim to the bottom of the pool, dive from the side of the pool in correct positioning and complete all of her Discovery 3 safety skills! She is now ready for our transition program which is designed to assist children with their parent no longer participating in lessons. 19.01.2022 As parents it’s important your Water safety hat is on as soon as you are within the vicinity of any water. We please ask our parents to not allow your children to walk away from you when you are within the pool area. Especially for our toddlers they should always be within arms reach. It’s critical we teach this for so many reasons but ultimately we don’t want children to think it’s ok to go near water without a grown up been right next to them. This includes not allowing your child to reach down into the pool before their class starts - we always invite them into the pool so they know it’s now safe for them to enter with their grown up or teacher. If you have any questions, or would like to discuss this further, please don’t hesitate to have a chat with us.

Aidan has gained vital skills during his time in Baby Splash. He has strengthened his sensory systems through our in water activities. He is Comfortable back floating, engaging in the class and tracking toys and water. Aidan is showing us that he has started to learn our verbal cues.
