25.01.2022 Designs in the Wild... Linda Reed-Enever's awesome book of PR Tips.

24.01.2022 AppSumo is a great place to find all sorts of programs to make your business life easier. A few of my fav deals that are there at the moment are SuiteDash - a client management system that does all sorts of nifty things (and you can brand it to be all you) ... And Deposit Photos for awesome stock photos handy when creating social graphics for your business. [please note this is an affiliate link, but you get a benefit from using it too]

24.01.2022 Shiny new business cards for Coffee by Lou, with a gloss finish so they don't get grubby around coffee crumbs. What finish do you have on your business cards?

24.01.2022 Design Tip: do you have a style guide for your brand? If you want some more tips or info about them you'll find info here: www.radgedesign.com.au/graphic-design/what-is-a-style-guide/

21.01.2022 {quote} I thought it would be better to be alone with my thoughts than alone with a bunch of strangers. - Tasmina Perry in 'The Proposal' I feel this may be true, I'm not a fan of walking into a room alone, especially when I don't know anyone there, how about you?

21.01.2022 {quote} ...that's life for an artist? Sometimes it flows and sometimes it gets all stopped up. - Kimberley Freeman in 'Ember Island' Artist, designer... Creative of any sort it's all much the same, and when it stops you need to go look at something else for a while and it always comes back.

19.01.2022 {Quote for the Day}

19.01.2022 New logo for Scott Deery Electrical. It comes as a light and dark version, as it's always handy to have options with your logo so it will work across a range of spaces or coloured backgrounds.

18.01.2022 From sketch to printed pattern on practical pouches. The pouches and laptop sleeves are perfect for storing or carrying all sorts of goodies. The laptop sleeves make the perfect homework folder for kids (and they last, we've been testing them for 4 years and still going strong). A great gift idea. For all the fun patterns on laptop sleeves ready to send see: www.radgedesign.com.au/produ/surface-pattern/laptop-sleeve/

17.01.2022 {quote} There's more to life than work. Took me a lifetime to realise that. - Karly Lane in 'Fool Me Once' Karly Lane author And sometimes you simply need to have more than one way to work that fill different sides of you.

16.01.2022 Do you have different versions of your logo to suit different spaces? Like the little itty bitty social media profile images or a letterhead where a horizontal version might suit best. It's a good idea to chat to your designer about having alternate versions of your logo, especially if your logo is quite long in its full form.

16.01.2022 Thanx for including the A to Z bonus in the Black Friday round up Jay. To see some other awesome deals from learning copywriting to learning business check out the post.

16.01.2022 Designs in the wild... Travel coffee cups, they look so cool.

16.01.2022 Moodboard Monday... this one comes with a fresh blog explaining all about it. www.radgedesign.com.au/mo/moodboard-clean-crisp-industrial/

14.01.2022 Sketchy sketches to printable designs, that's how I can help you. Like I did for Jenny and her fun new pattern.

14.01.2022 What's your why? Being creative is a part of me I cannot ignore, when I do I start to lose the plot.

13.01.2022 {quote} ... love wasn't a dazzling costume shop. You found that love that had a sparkle, that was pure and deep, was elusive. Vanessa McCausland in 'The Lost Summers of Driftwood'

13.01.2022 What is your brand personality? Did you know the colours and fonts you use in your branding can help portray this or it can detract from it. It's really important to consider what your brand vibe is when creating your logo and branding. So it all tells the same story.

09.01.2022 A pattern from a photo, I thought I'd try something different with this design. Meet 'Quiet Shadow Agave' here I've used it as a wallpaper, do you think it would work on fabric?

09.01.2022 How was your day? Mine was super busy working on logo concepts and edits, for two very different businesses. This was when I was seeking the shade at school pick up time.

07.01.2022 Designs in the wild... This is one of my designs from a few years back. We planned an epic trip (the only trip we've planned that far in advance ever), ans thought let's get a cover for the spare wheel with branding on it, we could share it around the place. I know my branding has changed but the colours and ideas are the same, and it makes me smile when I see it. Where have you used your logo that makes you smile?

07.01.2022 Designs in the wild, and this one is a beautiful custom detail for Nancy Jeannie Handmade to add to their beautiful creations. An embossed metal snap

05.01.2022 Do you like listening to the rain? I do, and we've been able to listen to it a bit lately which is really nice.

04.01.2022 How to get cohesive branding There is more to your brand than your logo. How your website and social media look, the way you speak or type (yep the way you write matters). What you share in Facebook groups or any other groups you are in; All impacts on how your business/brand is viewed by others. Taking a look at Instagram; it is all visual, it's the perfect place to see if your brand is looking consistent. Want to know more, I chat about it here: www.radgedesign.com.au//ho...w-to-get-cohesive-branding-on-i/ Pics used with permission from KBS Designs, Jenny Latto and Wondering Ginge

04.01.2022 The basics from Paintbrush Faces, so cool like a modern take on pinstripe... See the post for more of the story and to see all the colours

03.01.2022 Create a cohesive brand by being consistent with the use of colours and fonts in designs you create for your business.

03.01.2022 Some awesome feedback about a logo I've worked on, after a client sent it off to get her own branded reusable coffee mugs. Did you know if there are specific things you want to do with your logo, like having it laser cut or embroidered it's really important to let your designer know up front, as then we can design to suit the purpose it will be used for. As some design decisions will be different if I know it will be used in these ways, as fine detail doesn't always translate well.

02.01.2022 Some very kind words from Linda, and a chat we have about design and the Marketing Circle, where I've learnt lots. If you want to find out more there is info here: https://enevergroup.thinkific.com/bundles/MarketingCircle... Please note this is an affiliate link, if you use it let me know and I'll create some designs for you
