02.01.2022 I thought that on the whole most of the people who see me for soft tissue therapy are women 45+ years but last week I was reminded how much I enjoy supporting men as 100% bookings were male. A friend had popped in too and shared how many men in their 50s struggle with disillusionment about their life direction and that injury or sickness catch them unawares. It seems sad the pressure we can all be under to achieve and conform to our cultural ideals of success. So much so that it makes us sick. I like giving people a break from stress, using my knowledge and skill to alleviate pain and in recommending next steps. It’s an honour actually.
