14.01.2022 2 0 2 0 Oh what a year. No doubt there has been a fair bit of reflection of the past 12 months happening in your world right now. This time last year, there was devastation happening across the country already with the fires that led on into the new year. And then, well, of course, we all know how the story goes. ... This year was tough - for a lot of different reasons. But what we may not have realised is 2020 has been a year of lessons. It's taught us how to be resilien...t. To trust the process. To educate ourselves. To not believe everything we hear. To live local. To work with less in times of need. To really understand what's important in life. So as we move into this notoriously busy Christmas and New Year period, whether we're lucky enough to be away sinking our feet into the ocean, or treating it as mini staycay in town - take time to pause, to find the stillness and connect back with those quite months of lockdown, of how you felt, what was important then, and what's important now. It feels like the whole year has been working towards this moment (I mean, we all shared memes back in September waiting for Christmas/NY to come and close out this crazy year), so be sure to treat these final weeks of the year with respect. To take a deep breath in, and a long sigh out, to let go with ease. To continue to find the joy in the little things, to live local, to be kind to all. We're all still in this together, and always will be, and like every year, it rolls on. We continue to be resilient, to learn, and to trust the process of life. It is beautiful. Thank you to our community - for all your support this year. Like every year, it's a privilege to hold space for you through your journey. Thank you for supporting us always. Thank you to all our teachers - what an absolute solid crew we have. Adapting to change, working with all the new tech bits and pieces , not skipping a beat through transitioning from in-studio to online class offerings, opening up your homes to continue to hold space for the community. Amazing. You guys are the best. And on that, thank you to your families for hiding in the back room whilst you were filming! (More in comment!!) See more
