11.01.2022 How the years have flown. It does not appear long since Saturday 6 December 1980 when I first sat in front of the microphone at 4EB to participate in the presentation of the Dutch program. I still remember being impressed with the prevailing atmosphere of friendship and support between the various groups. It was an overwhelming experience for me and I became determined to become part of this multicultural family. These last forty years have been enjoyable and absorbing an...d I will miss the many friends and involvement. It is preferable to be asked `Why are you going?’ rather than to hear the no doubt well-meant suggestion `Why don’t you go.’ Bep Torkington From the Staff, Board, Volunteers and Subscribers, we thank you Bep for your overwhelming contribution to Radio 4EB over these past 40 years! 4EB Dutch
