23.01.2022 Showers are increasing for much of Queensland and northern New South Wales over the coming days. Patchy showers will increase on Wednesday for inland Qld an...d NSW, becoming widespread by Thursday morning, mostly remaining west of the Divide. By Friday, the rain will extend towards the eastern Qld and northeast NSW coasts, generally north of Sydney. Heavy isolated falls are possible with thunderstorms, particularly in southeast and central Qld, and northeast NSW later on Friday and on Saturday. This could lead to river rises. Along with the rain, much of Qld and NSW can expect cooler conditions. Maximums will be 2-5 C below average across the weekend, with many centres staying in the teens. The rain will ease from along the coast from Sunday, but staying cool into next week. For the latest forecasts and warnings, go to our website http://ow.ly/HJw950Fkx7E or the #BOMWeather app.
