Mainstream beliefs held by scholars still today is that we couldn’t of have done this because we were classed as primitive peoples with primitive tools. The hidden truth of the ancient Australian Aborigines achievements are still unknown.

06.01.2022 COVID-19 NEWS: Fuel Restrictions for APY Lands as State Shuts Down 18 November 2020 APY will re-introduce limits on the purchase of fuel in the APY Lands from m...idnight tonight as South Australia goes into a hard lockdown for six days to combat the latest COVID-19 wave. People in the APY Lands will only be allowed to purchase a maximum of 20 litres of fuel on Friday, November 20 and Monday, November 23, with identity checks in place. No other fuel purchases will be allowed during the next six days. The measure during this period is designed to discourage travel between communities, while still providing the means to access essential services or food supplies within communities. The state-wide shutdown, which includes the APY Lands, is a circuit breaker to stay ahead of the virus and enable contact tracing and protection for vulnerable groups. These steps are being taken to deal with a strain of coronavirus that is highly contagious with a very short incubation period. New measures include the closure of: All schools, except for children of essential workers and vulnerable children Childcare, except for families of essential workers Universities Takeaway food Outdoor sport and physical activity, including exercise outside of the home Regional travel, including between communities Supermarkets and petrol stations will stay open with limits on access. South Australians are being directed to stay at home with the exception of one person per day who can leave the home for groceries or to provide care, seek medical help or in an emergency. Face masks should be worn when outside of the home for any reason. While this situation is concerning and challenging for the community, please remain calm and play your part in stopping the spread of COVID-19 in South Australia. As previously advised, as a result of the dangerous Parafield COVID cluster, the APY Executive Board of Management resolved to close its borders for three weeks from midnight on Tuesday, November 17. Access to the APY Lands from outside services and visitors will be restricted to approved Essential Services only, primarily for food services and emergency or medical treatment. Applications will be managed through the APY Permits office: [email protected] or telephone 8954 8111. You will be required to provide the following documentation: Permit / Notification. Health Status Assessment 72 hours prior to intended entry. Current Risk Assessment. National police check or Working with Children’s Check is acceptable. APY will not accept entry from anyone from a known COVID-19 Hotspot.
