After returning to Fenris from his service with the Deathwatch, Drenn held counsel with the Great Wolf Logan Grimnar. Taking into consideration Drenn’s recruitment to the Deathwatch, and the trouble he had with a certain member of his previous Company. It was the Great Wolfs decision to assign him to Jarl Ragnar Blackmane’s mighty IVth Company. Sensing such similarities in Drenn to the Young Wolf Blackmane, he wanted to both test and witness Drenn’s personal growth as a warrior. To see if he had matured as much as Ragnar did after his service with Wolfblade many years earlier.
