Join the local community and help create an awesome environment for locals to enjoy Our cafe manager is the person who is ultimately responsible for all of the operations at a cafe. This includ...es; -scheduling employee hours -delegating tasks to staff, overseeing staff performance, making any necessary corrections to employee activity. The cafe manager is responsible for ensuring that guests are treated in the utmost pleasant and respectful manner, and deals with any customer issues. You will also responsible for the health and sanitary conditions of the cafe; it is essential to ensure the cafe is clean at all times and in compliance with state and federal sanitation and food-handling regulations. The cafe manager is also responsible for financial duties such as ordering stock, monitoring inventory, maintaining a budget, rostering and planning functions and events. You will also perform several HR tasks such as screening and recruitment, as well as the training of all employees. Finally, ensuring company standards, Rafiki methodologies and CULTURE are instilled in our team. Skills & experience required for a successful application: Min 3-5yr previous MANAGERIAL experience (is a MUST) developing a team and venue of similar environment Coffee/ barista knowledge Managing rosters & cost of wages Staff recruitment & induction Stock & cost of goods management Ability to manage/ lead and delegate in a fast-paced situation Available weekends (is a MUST)
