23.01.2022 Enjoying the west coast rain in the King River Gorge, Tasmania

21.01.2022 It takes both James and Ollie to get wet after flipping the raft at Sailor Jack.

14.01.2022 People have been having adventures on the Franklin River for years. The people wrinkle and the gear changes but the river doesn't care. These pictures are from a 1986 Derwent Canoe Club Easter Trip. Have a great Easter. Stay home. Stay safe.

12.01.2022 Tidying up at the end of the season and an ideal opportunity to thank everyone who has helped us through the season. Thanks to all our guests who took the plunge, some literally, to adventure with us. Thanks to Hewie the weather god who provided the wettest spring on record and Hydro who kept the water flowing for us. Thanks to the West Coast Wilderness Railway who always picked us up regardless of a hundred little hiccups. Thanks to the kitchen at the WCWR who managed to... turn out great lunches for everyone down the river. Thanks to Roam Wild who never failed to pick up and deliver us despite all the possible glitches. On looking through the thousands of images from this season, we see what a wonderful and beautiful place we operate in, and what talented and good looking guides we have. A business is only as good as its staff, so to all in the King River Rafting family we say a huge thanks and look forward to working with you again next season when the current craziness passes. Apologies if your picture got missed or you don't like it ,but you had the cameras.

11.01.2022 A last minute Twin Rivers Adventure proved a good decision for Sean and Sarah on a beautiful autumn afternoon

09.01.2022 Sunday’s are good at the Twin Rivers Adventure. Morning and afternoon crews enjoyed the forest float. I reckon Monday’s are good too. Not too late to book.

09.01.2022 Come and see us at Tahune this weekend. Rivers are up after Friday rain. Weather looks good. Afternoon trips Saturday and Sunday. Just do it!! #tahune #tahuneairwalk #tahuneadventures #pictonriver #hobartandbeyond #twinriversadventure

08.01.2022 Cape Sorell lighthouse was built in 1899 to help guide ships servicing the great Mt Lyell and North Mt Lyell Copper mines into Macquarie Harbour . Little is left now of the homes of the three lighthouse keepers but the light remains to guide mariners to safety. Evidence on the shore shows that the dangers of the sea are still very real
