The exhibition is built around social and political history and memorabilia with clothing, kitchenware, LPs and flyers, posters and badges On the opening night there will be 5 speakers on various topics for 5 minutes each, including Julie Mac. There will be an evening dedicated to the sharpies in the coming weeks where there will be a longer sharpie talk with a visual presentation. Will keep you posted!

13.01.2022 I haven't posted for awhile, but thought I would tell a recent Mad (Dad) story. Brother Paul is visiting from Mackay and we saw them last night. When we arrived at least 60 birds flew out of the garden, Bev is still feeding them all. There are more now since the redevelopment of Croydon Golf Course. Anyway, this is what my niece posted this morning... "So I made my pop listen to eminem and he reckons that’s not music that’s just sound, I’m not listening to this rubbish, bloo...dy load of shit. So I say to him but eminem is my favourite, and he goes I don’t even know who he is, and after explaining to him that he’s a rapper, pop goes I don’t listen to that shit I eat Eminems’. Anyway I took a video of the whole thing but Facebook won’t let me post it because of the swearing/copyright or whatever but anyways after I stopped videoing his reaction he walks outside and says I can’t be around this rubbish, listen to Elvis Presley, that’s real music." 02.01.2022 Many of the sharpies had Bodgies and/or Widgies for parents. A new group has been started to post family photos, please join if it is something that interests you.
