16.01.2022 To add some beauty and colour to the Rec. grounds we have planted some bright red and pale yellow flowering Callistemons along the front fence. They should be off to a good start in this wet spring hopefully,.. can’t wait to see them get up and away.
15.01.2022 New fencing around the septic at the rec reserve, should keep everyone out of the s#*t, so to speak. Big thanks to Daryl and Jj
15.01.2022 A big thanks to local legend, Trevor "Ginger" Thomson for slashing the Rec. oval yesterday. Looks great

08.01.2022 This is our tired entry to our beautiful town, our shire is planning on replanting and making one of the town entry points more eye appealing. This is great for our town and the many visitors we get, what's your thoughts ?
08.01.2022 A huge thank you to the lads from Raglan Tyres for supporting our community and mowing the oval at the reserve, well done guys, please if you need tyres or repairs, let's support local and go to Raglan Tyres.
07.01.2022 YAY ! Its been quite a wait, but with thanks to the Pyrenees Shire, Geoff Blake and as always our President Daryl Pagan, we once again have a table and chairs at the Recreation Reserve. Many many thanks to all involved.
06.01.2022 There is no stopping our awesome president Daryl and his lovely daughter Sarah!!!! After around 20yrs the tyres are being cut from the trees at the Rec and will be removed from site. YAY !! WELL DONE DARY AND SARAH, no doubt a dirty job, thank you from all of us.
06.01.2022 Yet again we have been helped out by another local legend who refused any payment for equipment use and labour provided ... A side of one of the big red gum trees at the Rec. fell, leaving a great mess of limbs, branches and leaves on the ground. Ross Day from Chipaway Trees in Beaufort came to the rescue, with all limbs cut up and stacked for future fire wood, and everything else put through his chipper machine Great result, all cleaned up perfectly ... Thanks Ross, terrific job .
05.01.2022 Gidday everyone, and Happy New Year. We have great news to share with you all... Please read the community letter we have added below this, and see why we are so happy.
04.01.2022 For those that may be interested.
04.01.2022 Let the working bee begin, Firstly A HUGE THANKYOU TO ALL WHO HAVE MADE DONATIONS TO THE HALL AND REC RESERVE. We have been able to remove the remaining tyres from the sight. A clean up and slashing of some grass has made an eye appealing difference and reduced the risk of unwanted reptiles. A big thankyou to those who attended, and thanks to Sarah & Brooke, an enjoyable lunch was had. If you were unable to make it this time, maybe we will see you next time. Again thanks to an awesome community. Cheers Daryl for organising the day.
