25.01.2022 Our 1st game of the winter was at Yass Golf Club this morning. The course played well and so did most of the players today. Gungahlin Lakes in 2 weeks time, let's hope the weather and course is as good as today.

23.01.2022 The COVID-19 restrictions are starting to ease, so we hope to be able to get back to the new ‘normal’ as soon as possible, however we’ve been advised that the suspension of bookings for Social Groups will continue, for now, at least. So, while we still can’t book and play as a social group, you are able to book as individuals, with a mate and at some courses, up to 3 mates! noting the Govt advice for those over 70 and those of us who are high risk. Most golf courses are ...open (with specific COVID-19 rules), some just for members, others allow some spots/days for social play, which are predominately during the ‘working week’, to allow members and competitions to go ahead on the weekend. We are keeping in close contact with the golf courses that we booked for this year’s calendar as soon as we’re given the all clear we will let you know and get us back on the fairways. Until then, keep in touch and please join us Friday at 5.30pm for our next zoom catch up.

23.01.2022 Dear Raiders Weston Social golfers (RWSG) Our next game is at Royal Military College golf course on Sunday 23 August, with an 8am tee time. Please let Jo know if you want to play by Friday 14 August, so we can confirm numbers with the course. The course is short and flat (easy walking) and we can only book a couple of carts so please confirm that you’re happy to walk (or not). Hopefully the rain will stay away for this game.

22.01.2022 Our first trip away for a long time was to Gundagai, it was nice to catch up with each other as we haven't seen each other for a while. What a great course Gundagai is, well worth the trip.

22.01.2022 Presidents v Captain s team Ambrose today at Murrumbidgee Country club followed by lunch at the Raiders Club Weston. A great day was had by all and well done to the Captains team who won the trophy for our out going Captain Chrisso.

20.01.2022 Dear Raiders Weston Social Golfers End of year events Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) / Presentations / Christmas function Will go ahead on Saturday 5th December 2020 @ the Raiders Weston Club ... We start at 5.30pm with the AGM followed by presentations, awards, dinner, bar tab, and ‘fun and games’ (in line with COVID restrictions) from 6.30pm The bar tab starts at 5.20pm, just before the AGM at 5.30pm Could you please let me or Simon know ASAP if you would like to attend significant others (ie. husbands/wives) are welcome to attend. Cost is $50 per person you can pay directly into the bank account or I’m happy to take your cash : We will also be having a Secret Santa the name of the person you’ll be buying a $10 gift for will be given to you in late November.

14.01.2022 Today was the RWSG annual Christmas in July golf day. We kicked the day off with bacon & egg rolls, had 9 holes of Ambrose at Fairbairn Golf Club then headed o...ff to the Raiders Club at Weston and had a roast turkey and ham lunch with trimmings and Christmas pudding. There were plenty of raffle prizes and lucky tag prizes to be won. I am sure a great day was had by all. Thanks to all that helped to make it a great day. See more

04.01.2022 A great weekend away in Merimbula. We played Tura Beach Country Club and Pambula / Merimbula golf clubs. The weather was fantastic, the golf courses were amazing and we all had a great time.
