18.01.2022 Some of the local cycling group trying out the new Rail Trail linking Wallaroo and Kadina #coppercoast

16.01.2022 It's looking good. Line marking now completed. NYP Rotary Club have also started work on the shelters.... It takes about 30 minutes and there's great coffee at either end. Why not dust the bike off and give it a go.

08.01.2022 Bollards have now been installed at all intersections along the Rail Trail. Further signage and car deterrents still to come!

05.01.2022 PLEASE TAKE CARE - WORK CONTINUES Please share with friends and family. Work continues today and over the weekend. Heavy equipment will be sealing the remaining section of the trail. ... Please obey the signage and stay clear of the work zone.

02.01.2022 More work to be completed soon The cycle way is looking great, but there are a few items to finish before the project will be completed. Works to come include;... Painting of all bollards and installing reflective panels. Construction of several shelters along the path. Painting and installation of historic rail signals at the shelters. Line marking. Give way signs to be installed at intersections along the path. ‘Beware of Cyclists’ signage to be installed on roads on the approach to bike path. Planting of trees and vegetation along the path Vehicle access deterrents such as large rocks and bollards. Sealing of the remaining section. Installation of a charging station for gophers Thanks everyone for all your positive feedback so far. You will be able to get out and active very soon. Start dusting off your bike now.
