17.01.2022 I have been reliably told that Santa will be riding his bike to the pub this evening at around 5.30! Bring the kids along and have some fun. The bistro will be open and then after Santa has gone , all schooners/cans of beer will be $5 from 6.30 to 8.30!

14.01.2022 A reminder that it is currently the law that there must be 4sq metres per person in the bar of the pub. The bar area is just over 60sq metres so that means a maximum of 15 people. In addition, no standing around is permitted so as there are now only 15 stools in the bar area, if you don’t have a seat then you cannot stay. Staff have been instructed that if there are more than the 15 people in the bar and people refuse to leave, then the bar will have to be shut until such time as there are only 15 or less people. There will be no exceptions.

13.01.2022 If need a room or know someone who does in Millthorpe during the upcoming school holidays, then we still have a few rooms available. Double rooms are $70 per night, family rooms $85.

13.01.2022 Due to STRICT Covid laws at present to comply with the 4 square metre rule our dining room is capable of SEATING 15 PEOPLE. At present it is booked to the maximum. Available bookings at the moment is 8pm or after Friday. Saturday at present is open.

12.01.2022 Whig has decided that he needs to find a new home as he won’t be able to stay at the pub anymore soon. So he will be travelling up to Dubbo in the near future to soak up the glorious sunshine and hopefully settle into life in a house with two doggies called Ralph and Wombat He wants you to know he has really enjoyed his time at the pub and will miss you all.
