19.01.2022 Just a little update since we have been back a couple of weeks now! First of all, massive thank you to everyone who had been in to support us upon reopening after this second lockdown! We are blown away with how busy we have been, we appreciate it so much, it’s great to be back! We also thank you for your patience and understanding regarding pre booking tables, booking times and time restrictions that allow us to have a smooth service and multiple sittings to serve as many o...f you as we can. These restrictions are nothing short of complicated but completely necessary, and we don’t see these changing any time soon. We now have QR code covid check in available, which has been a massive help to us to provide you with the easiest way to record your details for contact tracing. We are also now required under legislation to check I.Ds to make sure our customers have not travelled from Melbourne. As far as the latest Victorian Government announcement this week, unfortunately that doesn’t change much for us, maybe 6 extra seats for patrons, but we will take what we can. Booking ahead is absolutely essential to avoid disappointment, we have time restrictions of 1.5 hours when you have a meal, and 1 hour for coffee/drinks and cakes etc. We will be closed this Friday 23rd Oct (Grand Final Eve Public Holiday) but we will reopen Saturday with an exciting new addition to our platform courtyard, please stay tuned! We are still working out the finer details to stay in line with government regulations so please bare with us. 11.01.2022 NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS: Re COVID-19 (Sorry this may be a long read, but please bare with us) As of Friday 20th March, further restrictions have been placed on indoor venues, meaning at this stage we have limited capacity to our indoor dining area. We ask that you adhere to these restrictions for the safety and well being of customers and employees alike. Never before in our business history have we faced such an uncertain and challenging time. This scenario we are all facing, is... changing day by day, as too are our strategies to ensure we can continue to operate with minimal disruptions. While we already hold hygiene and safety in the highest regard, we have taken more steps to ensure the risk of current infection threats are kept to a minimum. - We have removed some tables and chairs to space guests, in line with Federal Government recommendations in regards to social distancing, further restrictions may apply in the near future. - Salt, Pepper and Napkins have been removed from tables, and are available on request from staff. - Hand Sanitiser is also available upon request, please understand that as this is a product that is globally in high demand, we too have only a small supply. We highly recommend also washing your hands thoroughly in the bathrooms provided. - We will not be accepting Keep Cups of any kind for refills, this was a difficult call, but a necessary one as we cannot ensure their cleanliness 100% of the time. - We are increasing our cleaning practices of high touch surfaces and caf equipment, eg door handles, chairs, tables, menus and our counter space. - Simplifying our current menus to streamline service times in an attempt to limit the time required for patrons to dine on our premises. Please be assured that we are doing our best to turn this negative in to a positive, we do offer meals, drinks and cakes as take away options for your convenience. 10.01.2022 SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Here we go again, LOCKDOWN 2.0 Due to Stage 3 restrictions coming in to place as of midnight Wednesday 5th August, we have had to make some decisions that are best for our little family business going forward:... 1 Wednesday 5th August, business as (un)usual, cafe open for breakfast from 10am until 11:30am, lunch until 2pm, closing at 3pm. This is your last chance for a sit down meal for at least the next 6 weeks, so if you would like a table, reservations are essential and subject to availability. Please note, masks are mandatory unless you are exempt for medical reasons, mask must be worn at all times, except for when you are eating or drinking. 2 From Thursday 6th August, we will be providing take away services only. Going forward for this lock down period our days and hours of operation will look slightly different. Temporary Hours as follows: MONDAY-FRIDAY: 10am-2pm SATURDAY-SUNDAY: CLOSED Please keep an eye out over the next couple of days for our new menu. 02.01.2022 There’s no easy way to say this, this afternoon we will be closing our doors once again, to see out this current lock down The whole State is suffering, and we ourselves have not been immune to the devastation of this pandemic crisis. This photo breaks our heart. This is not what we do, to not have this beautiful building bustling with people enjoying company over lunch or a coffee, is devastating to us. We will be back again, but for now we just have to see it through to ...the other side.
