24.01.2022 KING HENRY Congratulations to Henry Alforque on winning our reserves best and fairest award in commanding fashion on 96 votes. New recruit Michael Roberts was runner up on 48 votes closely followed by Henrick Alforque on 47.

24.01.2022 ABSOLUTE HEARTBREAK Our league boys go down to Denmark-Walpole by 18 points in the preliminary final. The Magpies got a quick start on us and even though we got the margin back to three points at the last change, we went down fighting in the final term 9.8 (62) to 6.8 (44).... Cyrus Upson (two goals), Dylan Schorer, captain Bodhi Stubber and Shane Braimbridge were among our better players. Well done on a great season boys unfortunate we couldn’t finish off Congratulations to Craig Frost on 100 league games.



23.01.2022 A big term from the boys kicking four unanswered goals to get us within three points at the last change. We trail 3.7 (37) to 6.4 (40), we need a big last quarter to get into the grandy.

23.01.2022 Our women’s footy had a special guest this week, West Coast Eagles vice-captain Jeremy McGovern stopped by to chat with our team. Great to have the local star back in his home town and we appreciate him taking some time out for our Tiger girls. Plenty of smiles in this picture!

20.01.2022 BAYLISS TAKES CHARGE, 2021 COACHES NAMED We are delight to announce the appointment of Mark Bayliss as our league coach for 2021. Mark comes with an extensive coaching background of more than 18 years.... He is part of a new-look coaching group with Bodhi Stubber and Kane Shephard joint coaches of our colts. Jack Hastie is the man to lead our reserves group, his first appointment of the kind. Dan Cale will be in charge of the sixteens who have a bright future. We can’t wait for this group to get into their work. Finally we can’t thank Troy Leo enough for his enormous contribution to our senior group over the past two seasons. Go Tigers

Both lads polled 11 votes to share the GSFL’s highest individual honour. ... So proud of you both, reward for a terrific home and away season! 13.01.2022 JUNIOR PRESENTATIONS Congratulations to Jaxon McLean and Mohit Jaggi on claiming our colts and sixteens best and fairest awards respectively on Tuesday night. Both players have enjoyed stellar seasons in the yellow and black and were both deserving winners.... Jaxon won his award on 65 votes in the shortened season, defeating runner up Toby Hall on 58. Others colts award winners were Noah Whitebread (coaches), Tom Gawned (most consistent & leading goal kicker), Jayden Heslop (best team man), Andrew Smith (rising star), Harry Hordacre (player of the finals), Jack Willock (Coaches votes), Xavier Brenton-Reed (Tiger Cub) and Jack Stephens (leading goal kicker). Mohit won a thrilling count after only playing in the six games of the season winning on 103 votes to narrowly beat Owen Houden on 102. Other sixteens award winners were Jake Brown (coaches), Dilan Gadean (most consistent), Toby Brown (best team man), Lachy Cale (rising star), Riley Wood (best backman), Clay Michael (coaches votes and leading goal kicker) and Andrew Smith (Ryan Marron). Congratulations to all our players and thanks to all the trophies and award sponsors!

The women’s season was cut short this year but our Tigers are already preparing for an even bigger and better campaign. Fantastic to have Beaver and KC locked in for the second straight year. ... The team is training at Railways on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons. Any new players are welcome to join

02.01.2022 TIGERS BOUNCE INTO ACTION The new basketball season kicks off this afternoon as our Railways Basketball Club has made a big jump to 13 teams. We have added teams in Year 11/12 boys, Year 7/8 boys, Year 6 boys and Year 7/8 girls to our already strong existing squads.... Thanks to everyone who has supported our basketball club and we wish all teams playing their first games over the next couple of days the very best of luck. Go Tigers!
