25.01.2022 Beautiful ceremony today where the couple performed a Filipino tradition of "tying the knot" where a veil is pinned to the couple and a figure 8 cord is placed over the couple. The ceremony also included the Candle Unity Ceremony.

23.01.2022 For your information I have just received the changes to the Monitum effective 9th December 2017:- I am duly authorised by law to solemnise marriages according to law. Before you are joined in marriage in my presence and in the presence of these witnesses, I am to remind you of the solemn and binding nature of the relationship into which you are now about to enter.... Marriage, according to law in Australia, is the union of two people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life. Plus: From 9 December 2017, the vows will change to reflect the new definition of marriage: I call upon the persons here present to witness that I, A.B. (or C.D.), take thee, C.D. (or A.B.), to be my lawful wedded wife (or husband, or spouse). This change allows marrying couples to make a personal choice about the terms to be used in their marriage vows that best reflect their relationship. The term ‘husband’ can refer to a male marriage partner, and ‘wife’ to a female marriage partner, regardless of the sex or gender of the person saying the vows. The term ‘spouse’ can refer to a male, female, intersex, non-binary gender or transgender person.

23.01.2022 I saw this on a wedding post and thought this hysterical:- So I work in a 24/7 servo and therefor good friends with the local cops as I always make them coffees at 2am every morning... was joking around with the sarge tonight and told him that whoever is on shift should come to my reception as a joke to arrest me... he then asked me when and said if I would like he will organise a police ride to my wedding... hand cuffed me and deliver me to my H2B and tell him this belongs to you and have him write out a receipt!! I couldn’t stop laughing I am so tempted to take him up on that offer!!

04.01.2022 I visited Maggies Bridal in Cranbourne yesterday and found out they clean and press and hang wedding gowns for $150. If you want them boxed in a special preserving box the price is $250. I thought this very reasonable.
