12.01.2022 The weather played nice and it was a very pleasant day on the range. The turnout wasn't great, but it is that time of the year. Next week is the AGM, so please make it to the range so we can elect people to the committee positions for the up coming year and discuss current club business. Also all reports are required to be submitted from those current committee members that need to submit them. The meeting will start at 9:00am sharp and should be over early enough to get some... shooting time in. Also for those that have not paid their club fees, these are now overdue, so please get that organized or let Ted know that you will not be signing up again for this year. 06.01.2022 Ray's Firearms & Archery is offering 10% discount on all archery accessories (not adult bows) and some junior bows to club members, just produce your club card or ABA membership card at the till. Matt tells us that they now have a PSE Surge 70# RTS package in as well as the new PSE Stinger X RTS @ 60#. Not too far in the future they will be getting in some more top end bows including the new PSE Full Throttle, but be quick it looks like the new bows won't last long. If your looking at getting a new bow come in and talk to Matt as he will be able to order in bows from their new supplier. If you want archery gear to be supplied in town you have to ask for it, if Ray's can see that locals are willing to support local shops they will do their best to accommodate you.

It doesn't sound promising for the shoot, but I will let you into a little secret, as long as you don't tell anyone, sometimes... the weather bureau gets it wrong and the weather turns out just great. Try using the old fashion method, stick your hear out of the window in the morning, if it gets wet it is raining, if it stays dry it is not raining. Whatever happens the range will be open.
