04.01.2022 ‘How can I boost my immunity?’ We’ve been asked this question lots of times in the past few weeks, and with good reason! There are lots of wonderful herbs in our dispensary to help you achieve optimal immune function. There are also some lifestyle considerations, and we want to highlight a couple of these over the next few weeks. Today, lets talk about sleep. Getting 7-8 hours a night (this varies a bit for different ages) and doing it at the right time, greatly increases our ability to fight infection and inflammation. It also decreases our susceptibility to all kinds of chronic diseases. Putting away electronic devices at least an hour before your usual bedtime, and putting yourself to bed at a reasonable time (the hours before midnight are worth more) are some of the best things you can be doing for your immunity at this time.
